On tap at Basement Beer Bar. It pours a hazy amber body under a dense two finger light beige head. Curtains. It has rather hoppy aroma, with pine cones and citrus peel, there’s a solid maltyness in the back. It’s full bodied and pleasantly carbonated. The flavor has bitterness, pine cones and resins up front, with toffee-ish malts as a backdrop. Lasting, balanced finish. Nice. 150401 HerrBierkoenig (1452) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAR 3, 2015

Love this one. One of the best, hoppy reds I've ever had. Buy it by the growler or the keg when you can.
