Betcha didn’t see this coming. This is our riff on a fest bier. It’s hopped up, but malty. Enjoy. For the rest of the story...stay tuned.

¿Lager? Seca, amargor y resina continúan en postgusto. Curiosa. ¿Lager? ¿India Pale Lager? ¿Oktoberfest? Ni idea.

This canned beer’s appearance includes a medium sized very bubbly, frothy off-white head that mostly diminished throughout the rating. It has a gold transparent body and very little lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, grapefruit, floral, fruity, earthy, spicy, and malty. The flavor presents light-moderate bitterness, citrus hops, floral, fruity, spicy, earthy, lightly sweet, and malty. The mouthfeel is light-moderate carbonation and creamy. This beer is light bodied. A very drinkable beer that ends with a long lingering bitter aftertaste. This is a beer that I would drink again.

Lager ligeramente lupulada con base maltosa. Cuerpo medio y bastante carbonatada. Muy rica! BB 2017/12

Dark golden to amber in color. Tall, slowly fading, light beige head. Specks of lace. Raw to toasted grain scents and mild slightly herbal hops. Light sweet start. Lightly grainy, but a nice toasted malt component. A fairly harsh bitterness sneaks in mid-quaff and takes away the malt enjoyment. Quite herbal to root-like (thinking gentian). The start was really promising. But the bittering hops went a bit overboard. Oddly enough as it warms it loses a bit of the bitterness and the malt comes back in the finish. The linger still stays a bit too bitter for my liking. Aside for the bitterness, a nice fest brew. Not just a caramelized lager.

Can 1 pint. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, white head. Nose is malt and slightly greasy/tired hops. Medium body, fairly clean malt and a solid dose of bittering hops. Way too bitter for the style had it been German. 02032017

471mn can.

Tallboy can extra from an IP trade. Poured a cloudy bright orange with a foamy smaller bright white head. Aroma of sweet malts, honey topped breads and a touch of white grapes. Flavor is much drier, grains, medium toast, crusts and a hint of old dry nut shells. Medium body with strong carbonation.
