This was probably the best Kentucky beer at the festival other than Bo & Luke. A bright and tropical imperial IPA throws some Kentucky twists on the Midwestern hop bomb. If this comes back around at the brewpub or in bottles I will be in line.
Aroma / Appearance - An orange carbonated base shimmers with life. Crisp white head is like a sheet of bleached paper. Grapefruit, mango, and oranges are strong, assertive, and as intense as the best of the style anywhere in the country.
Flavor / Palate - Grapefruit and mango sparkle on the tongue. An oaky transition scrapes the remnants of previous beers off the tongue. Flavorful and bright this beer would have made the day on its own. As long as the brewers never rest on their laurels I expect great things from Louisville.
Draught at Beer Temple. Hazy orange with a small white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet with a dry hoppy finish. Pine, grapefruit, some caramel, citrus and not too alcoholic. A great full flavoured IPA. shrubber85 (11408) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Draft. Tangerine/pineapple and orange peel aroma. Hazy amber with moderate head. Very sweet orange-pineapple and moderately bitter citrus peel flavor. Lingering bitterness. Tasty. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Thought it was a godo dipa, citrusy, lemony, tropical, covers a lot of the bases, not too too malty though it is htere.

Tap at 2013 GTMW, pours a hazy amber orange with a good white head and lacing through out the glass, the aroma was pretty fresh, nice amount of grapefruit and citrus, not overwhelming but a nice break from all the huge impy stouts at this tent, the flavor is light for it being over 10% and has a good amount of pine and fruit through out, nice clean mouthfeel, enjoyed this one. jonas (7583) - Garching b. Cloudy orange , golden head which leaves cool rings on the glass
Butter caramel, old ale notes, vanilla tobacco, just a hint of barrel.
Mellow mouthfeel, dry chewiness.
Smoke and bourbon on the very tip of the tongue, fresh green hops, elegant oak notes in the background. Pine in the back. Unusual composition, Impressive! ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Aroma: (9- world class) Huge resinous pine, grapefruit hops with solid caramel, cereal malts. A touch of white pepper as well.
Appearance: (4- high quality) Dark copper, very still, sticky bone head.
Flavor: (8- very high quality) Semi sweet, semi bitter attack followed by a crescendo to piney, resiny, grapefruit hop intensity. Caramel and cereal present through the massive hop pyrotechnics, but appropriately muted.
Palate: (3- average) Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish.
Overall: A superior DIPA with an interesting hop shape; reminds me of Jaipur in that respect.

Mycket humle och fruktighet i aromen. Relativt rund kropp och smak. Lite sötma i smaken, abv:n känns av men stör ej. CamdenD (1197) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 23, 2013
This is a powerful IIPA and well-made. The hops originally come off a bit pacific and cream-like in nuance iike NS hops. Taste is balanced and the beer itself is not exaggerated one way or the other.
