Sampled during Bamberg trip 2011. This one in the train, thanks to evil stepdad. Hazy yellow with a frothing white head. Fresh mild flowery and citrus hop aroma. Fresh crisp wellbalanced swee/bitter flavor.

75cl bottle directly from Masia Agullons. It pours a hazy golden-amber liquid with a small-medium bubbly head that lasts throughout the beer and leaves a little lacing. The aroma is very herbal and yeasty; quite complex: nice herbal and floral hops along with some mild sweet malts. A little citron is also there (lemon and orange). It tastes likewise, with a very herbal aftertaste and a dry finish. It has low sweetness, low sourness and a medium-high bitterness for an EPA. Carbonation is very soft, and it has a medium-full body. It makes a nice hoppy session beer. Very natural taste; nicely balanced brew.

28-APR-2011, bottle @terrasse in Barcelona, from La Cerveteca. Recommended by bartender Pours hazy orange with big beige bubbles that coats the glass. Really fruity nose with ripe apricots and orange peel. Sweet taste with a hint of bitterness. A little low on carbonation. Fine bitter, one of the best.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2011 Re-rate 11/28/11: Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Rotem. Hazy golden-orange with a big white head. Aroma of fruits, yeast and floral and citric hops. Flavor starts sweetish, yeasty and fruity and continues drier and slightly spicy with some hops. Medium-bodied. Not bad. Started with 3.3, and by the time it warmed up a bit, I raised the score to 3.5. 7/4/7/3/14=3.5

[3/3/11] Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas in Brussels. Cloudy orange color with a medium white head. Aroma has some fruity yeast and floral hops. Flavor starts sweetish with some malt and fruity esters, continues bitter and hoppy with grassy and citric notes. Medium-bodied. Quite enjoyable. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

Draft @ Moeder Lambic. Petite bière espagnole qui est franchement rafraichissante et apporte un peu d’espoir pour une scène ibérique assez calme au niveau brassicole. Orangée/dorée, col blanc. Arôme utilise bien le houblon Cascade qui donne au nez un profile citronné/pin léger; Challenger quand à lui donne cet aspect un peu épicé. A noter aussi, un malt pale qui est en retrait. En bouche, une pale ale avec un petit ajout fort agréable qui penche sur ce houblon américain pin et citron avec aussi une fine touche de pomme, le tout laissant une légère amertume au palais. Tout comme pour son arôme, un profile malt qui est en retrait mais donne à cette bière assez de dimension pour en faire une pale ale d’exception.

Cask at Cerveteca. Nice bubbly nearing on foamy white head; on a very cloudy bright straw yellow body. Citrus hops and some grain and biscuit in the aroma. Hoppy, but not overly so...drier and crackery and citrus hops close out the taste. Bit watery, and a little slick. Solid enough and easy drinking.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2012 Alla spina al moeder lambic. Il fantasma di una ale inglese, acquosa e quasi insipida, dolce e amaro che fanno a cazzotti. E sembra pure fosse in ottima forma, peccato.
