Pundarquartis (19) - Odense, - JAN 28, 2012
Great, mild, funky aroma with a hint of hoppiness. Looks decent in glass, but a bit murky. Taste is beautiful with a fantastic balance between a sour and a pale ale and the funkiness blends perfectly with the hoppy pale. The palate is good, but I feel it lacks something, hard to put my finger on it though. Overall its a fantastic beer and a beer Id love to forget in my cellar for a couple of years. It really shows how the craft beer revolution is coming to spain!

Orange color with just a few transparent bubbles. Aroma has intense lambic funk with damp cellar and wood notes. Even a bit of balsamic vinegar. Taste is quite weird. Lots of lambic funk, really earthy, dusty wood bitterness. Light body, no carbonation. Really weird beer. I expected a sour but its just flat, funky and bitter.

9th July 2016: RBESG Grand Tasting (part 1). Clear golden amber pour, light weight white head on top. This was more farmyardy than the other Masia Agullons Sours we tried. More sour too, this was almost acidic in nature and a real sour puss of a beer. Not really to my liking.
