clvand0 (350) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JAN 20, 2004
This beer was brought to me from Germany. Cool plop top. It pours a very clear yellow with a nice white head and leaves a little bit of lacing on the glass. The aroma was grainy with some malts, but not too strong on the nose. The flavor was a very crisp and clean pilsner. Strong malt characteristic and very smooth to drink. I'd drink this more if it were sold in the US.

Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, rich h ead. Grassy nose. Dry with medium body. Lots of grassy hops over buttery maltiness. Long balaned bitterness. Pleasant, even if notes of paper distracts somewhat.

BeerViking (4990) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2011
0.33l bottle bought in Germany, pours a deep gold with a fluffy white head that quickly settles to a thin lacy head. Malt on the nose with a little pine and pineapple, dry and crisp on the palate, full bodied yet with a dry and hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.
