Koelschtrinker (23070) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 26, 2016
Süßlich herb-getreidiger Antrunk. Kaum hopfig, die Süße wirkt muffig. Langweilig. Süßer Nachhall. 8/8/8/7/8/7

EAGLE82 (235) - Röslau, Bavaria, GERMANY - MAR 26, 2015
A very good south German Pilsner (lower on hops than a typical pilsner). Very drinkable.

Benzai (17009) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 9, 2012
Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, small white head that leaves a fair lacing. Smell malts, a bit sweetish, grains. Taste malts, a hint of sweetness, grains, slightly bitter. Low body, low carbo.

kappldav123 (6277) - GERMANY - OCT 11, 2011
Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, but nice head. Starts mild, fine spicy, modest grasy-wheaty. Not too dry. Finish well balanced, very drinkable. Doesnt really taste like a pils, but still very good.

ryan (3185) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2011
Firkin at Brauhaus Schmitz, PBW 2010. Nose is a bit stale, not the freshest of hops, and just a touch of sulfur. The taste is right on though, dry cracker malts, herbal hops, and a touch of grass and lemon. Very nice, despite the flaws (which were clearly from an old cask).

kramer (6990) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2010
Firkin, Brauhaus Schmitz’s. Pours a pale yellow body with a nicely frothy white head that left some nice lacing. The nose is slightly sulphury pils malt with some lightly grassy hops. The flavor is bready pils malt, a touch of sulphur, some nicely bitter grassy hops, rather soft and well rounded. Mouthfeel is light and airy with a nice lingering bready maltiness. Decent beer, the firkin serving method made for a nice experience.

Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 13, 2010
Firkin at Brauhaus Schmitz. Pours a nice clear blond/gold with a frothy white head- good lace and retention. Aroma is slight sulfur residue from fermentation, slight grassy and herbal hops, bready and light toast. Flavor is doughy bready pils malt, some mineral ok grassy bitterness, herbal, slight sulfur- finish is ok bitterness, slightly thin but pretty good.

fonefan (53766) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 3, 2009

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2009
Bottle 50 cl. A slightly hazy yellow beer with a small, white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body, sweetish malt, a little sulphur and a very discreet bitterness. 291108

yespr (49905) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2008
50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Mild cornish and light hoppy aroma. Sweet malty flavoured with a mild bitterness emitting a light citric flavour into the finish.
