On tap at the brewery. Light golden body with a somewhat weak head. Light, pleasing aroma with suggests of baked bread and a hint of toffee. Feel: smooth, as expected, but very full body for style. Overall: flavorful, full-bodied, and heartily recommended version of the style.

Brewvival Trip Beer 56. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of hay, corn and herbal hops. The taste is grassy hops, corn, nuts. Medium bodied,

Draught at the brewpub. Pours yellow with virtually no head. The aroma is light vanilla and lemon, some grain, and not much else. The flavor is a grainy sweetness with hints of corn and vanilla, and maybe a little bit of lemon. Meh.

On sample tray. Pour is light yellow with foamy white head. Scent is, um light and so is the taste. IMO Aiken’s first dud.

This beer was just weird for me. Golden yellow with a musty, metallic nose. Weird creaminess on the palate with an underlying metallic note. I know it’s supposed to be creamy, but this just didn’t work--it tasted like a creamy Bud Lite.

decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 28, 2009
Gold with white head and lace. Light saaz like hops. Medium malt and a hint of corn followed by a light bitter. Good carbonation and mouth feel. Pretty well done for me.

on tap-pours a white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is grassy, grain. Taste is sweet light malt/grain, grassy/slight spice hops. This is not your High Falls Genny Cream.

Tap. Creamy apricot malt aroma. Dark yellow with small head. Fruity (peach, apple) malt flavor. Nice body. An excellent cream ale - very quaffable and enjoyable.
