On tap at the brewery. Light golden body with a somewhat weak head. Light, pleasing aroma with suggests of baked bread and a hint of toffee.
Feel: smooth, as expected, but very full body for style.
Overall: flavorful, full-bodied, and heartily recommended version of the style. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Brewvival Trip Beer 56. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of hay, corn and herbal hops. The taste is grassy hops, corn, nuts. Medium bodied, tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Pours yellow with virtually no head. The aroma is light vanilla and lemon, some grain, and not much else. The flavor is a grainy sweetness with hints of corn and vanilla, and maybe a little bit of lemon. Meh. beernovice39 (3269) - Idaho, USA - JUN 9, 2010
On sample tray. Pour is light yellow with foamy white head. Scent is, um light and so is the taste. IMO Aiken’s first dud. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - JUN 4, 2010
This beer was just weird for me. Golden yellow with a musty, metallic nose. Weird creaminess on the palate with an underlying metallic note. I know it’s supposed to be creamy, but this just didn’t work--it tasted like a creamy Bud Lite.
