On tap at the brewpub in Germany. Nice unfiltered brew, cloudy look with white head and nice lacing. Aroma a mix of hops and malt, with grassy hay in the backround. A bit of coppery taste in there as well. Taste is smooth and well along Helles lines. Palate is mellow with a slight bitter end.

Draught (Munich Airport)
Bready popcorny aroma. Pale yellow, hazy, healthy head. Hint of butter too. Simple grainy bready taste - more of the popcorn. Crisp carbonation, soft palate. Finish is a little perfumed. Gentle and refreshing, very bready. Good one.

(draught) pours a very hazy yellow-golden colour with a frothy white head. simple aroma of pale malts, herbal hops and just a touch of yeast. flavour has a huge herbal hop profile, with some very faint grainy malts backing it up. medium body wand carbonation with a surprisingly bitter finish.

(7/5/08) Draught at the brewpub in Munich airport. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, some light bread notes and some hoppiness. Slightly sweetish flavor at first, and a rather sharp finish with a pretty strong bitterness. Medium-bodied. A nice Helles.

Appearance: Quiet murky , light greenish-gold tint with proper long lasting creamy head.
Nose: Faint grassy aroma with slightly raw malt , slight ci tric fruity end.
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Lighter malt character with characteristically softness of unfiltered beer blended with slight raw hop bitterness. As it warmed up this brew become more balanced giving more of sweetness that blended well with its hops.

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized white head. Handmade yeasty aroma with lemon and some earthy tone. Medium bodied. Flavor starts with lemon, turns to same earthy yeasty one. Not too refreshing for me.

Half an hour to take-off, the 3 beers on offer lined up like traffic lights....aroma woodsy, peppery hop. Bit of a wishy-washy soggy biscuit finish. Blunt shampoo hoppiness and assertive IBUs. Some appealing citrussy notes in there. At the end of it, a pleasantly lemony unfiltered helles.
