Unfiltered Helles.
FliegerQuell, with its distinctive hop flavor, is on tap all year round, and Airbräu guests should be sure to sample it. This full-bodied ale with its deep, golden color and aromatic flavor is a refreshing pleasure to a beer drinker’s palette. In 2010 FliegerQuell was selected by the German Agricultural Society as the winner of the DLG Gold Medal for the second time.

Poured hazy yellow- like the others have said, almost looks like a Hefe. Head was lasting- very Germanic. Clean malt and grass in the nose. Nice mouthfeel. Good dryness from the hops. The yeastiness form being unfliltered was a very nice touch and added nice body.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2017 At AirBrau in Airport. Cloudy unfiltered helles. Fruity flavors for a lager quite refreshing. Rather good. Goes down smooth. Serving: Tap

Helles Naturtrüb.
Hazy blond color. Nice hop and malt aroma. Well malty, quite dry, a subtle sweetness and a very good hopping.

This must be the best beer served at any airport! Fly through Munich quite a lot and always look forward to a long connection time so that can have few of these beers. Fruity helles with a great refreshing taste, very good value too for an airport!

Pivo’s review makes me think that the brewing process in Airbrau isn’t completely stable... I am with him on the cloudy looks, but I got a yeasty aroma and a powerfull bitterhop taste and a suitable body, which would place this beer in the ’classic german pils’ section instead of helles. I rather enjoyed to pass the time after check-in at the airbrau :-)

Gut! 9/12/12/12//12

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy golden with a good white head. Grassy and spicy hop nose. Good bitterness provided by the noble hops. Delicious.

Draught at the brewpub, Terminal 2, Munich Airport. Hazy golden beer with a quite nice lasting white head. Spicy hop and grass aroma, malty bready, some biscuits. Lovely biscuit flavor, caramel, spicy notes, grassy hops, notes of citrus. Malty biscuit finish with bread, citrus and grassy hops. Great beer with loads of malts.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2015 Draft at Airbräu MUC. Murky gold with a fine white head. Pale malt aroma is toasted cereals, faint dough, faint husks; hops are expressed as lemon juice, citrus pith, tangerine. Medium-light bodied, creamy and supple and savory in the mouth, medium-low sweetness tempered well by bitterness. The malt is expressed authentically and delicately.

On tap at Terminal 2. Great unfiltered Lager. Cloudy, pale yellow, with nice white head. A little watery, but also yeasty, gluey and tasty. Nice stuff. Enjoyed this.
