On tap @ Airways Brewery in Kent. Pours amber with thin head. Floral, piney aroma. Hops are fresh and lingering. Tastes like it’s dry-hopped. Kinda mild for an imperial, but hops and malt are balanced. I like this better than their standard IPA.
Bottle share at Evernote in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is mild honey and grapefruit. Taste is the same with more alcohol and bitterness. Almost reminded me of a Old Fashioned in some ways...but not in an appealing way. Hanuta06 (469) - Washington, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles.
Aroma: light pine hop.
Appearance: average-sized, rocky, off-white, initial head with good lacing and mostly lasting longevity. Hazy, medium-orange body.
Taste: moderately bitter, citrus initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: okay. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2015
Amber, thin head. Slightly toasty, slightly citrusy, smooth, sweetish with light crystal mat character. Decent, maybe a touch strong and chewy for me. Theydon_Bois (19189) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2014
Keg at the taproom, 07/11/14.
Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering that clears to a swirl.
Nose is caramel malt, grapefruit, bitter orange, straw, hop tunes.
Taste comprises pine, bitter orange, hops shine a little more over the aroma, grapefruit, citric peel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent enough DIPA but a little heavy handed compared to their more solid IPA’s. mackRIS (37) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - NOV 8, 2014

Draft - Pine and skunk. Cleanish gold with a decent white head. Sweet and piney. Sweetness really throws it off, not their best. mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 26, 2014
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a large beige head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous hops, lots of caramel malt, syrup, and grapefruit zest. Flavour is identical, with a little too much malt for my liking, leading to loads of grapefruit zest that overrides it. Weird IIPA. Good, but a bit off the mark. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy reddish amber color with w fairly large off white head on there. Nose is earthy and grassy and lacks the frsh hop character I really wanted. Taste is moderately bitter and earthy without the freshness Iike in IPAs. KansaiBeerLvrs (5090) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 11, 2014
Taster from a bomber at the Hanshin Seed Event. Deep coppery gold. Very hoppy herbal & slightly piney bouquet. Medium bodied with a slightly slick mouthfeel & dry finish. The taste is bitter but not that complex, sweet malts, fruity hop notes then resin & pine sap. Pretty good. onceblind (9399) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 5, 2014
Slightly hazy copper under a thin foamy head. The aroma has some earthy bitter floral tones and something akin to stir dry pork. Flavor was a bit too earthy bitter with some leafy hop tones, some earthy old pine and old grapefruit rind. Nothing bad by all means but nothing particularly great.
