A nice stout with good coffee and chocolate flavor, not amazing but drinkable.

Draught at Kopta. Rich roasty nose, nuts, cocoa, coffee. Light sweetness, flavors of chocolate, nuts, coffee. Nice stout. crackedmachine (536) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 23, 2012
On tap. Appears black with an initially large but quickly disappearing head, and in the end little carbonation. Pleasant enough roasty flavors and a little bitter chocolate did not quite do the trick balancing out too much sweetness. txspartan (1061) - Berchem, BELGIUM - AUG 6, 2012
Chocolate and coffee aroma. Nice bittersweet chocolate flavour. A little on the sweet side. AmEricanbrew (6954) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 23, 2011
black color/ tan head. earthy swamp water, dirt, dark roast malt aromas. medium bodied. flavor follows the smell with deep roast, black malt and dirt, swamp water--decent enough though

Draft at NCBC. Pours jet black with a loose and wispy tan head. Big ashy sooty chimney nose. Very black-patent-heavy. Creamy medium body, going a bit watery here and there. Undercarbed a bit. Super ashy mid palate, long dark finish. Appealing enough for a start but needs a lot more different flavor components to balance out the ash/patent bit. Black bodied with a sparse, airy head and little carbonation. Sooty, black patent nose segues into a roasty, robust porter flavor accented again by sooty notes and powdery black patent malt.
