Is the beer that recovers the legacy of the Original Alsacian Method that our founder, August Kuentzmann Damm, brought from his country. It is characterized by its soft flavour, obtained by a totally natural elaboration process, from rigorously selected ingredients.

Aroma: Cereal and subtle nuts notes Appearance: Pale golden color with clear liquid and white head. Taste: Medium bitterness with light sour notes. Palate: Light body with thin texture and lively carbonation. Abrupt astringent finish. Overall: Not my style but it has good qualities. Fresh and easy to drink.

330ml bottle in my hotel room (in Barcelona) on 16th Jan 2017. Basically a sweet malty Lager that I quiet enjoyed. Nothing startling or unusual about its looks, aroma or taste: so not too sure what the Original Alsacian Method of brewing Lagers is?

The beer has a simple look. The color of the brew is a nice golden yellow. The beer is crystal clear. A crispy white head is poured on top. Its the typical pilsener looks. Not special, not bad, just like an easy drinkable beer should be. The smell is not bad. Its simple, like most pale lagers, but not bad. I smell bitter and minimally acidic hops, sweet malts and some touches of fruit. I dont know why, but somehow I smell a very very mild licorice aroma. Its just a touch though. The taste isnt bad either. There are nice sweeter malt flavors and some bitter hops. There isnt much else. The two are in good balance though. The palate is avarage. The body is quite heavy for a pale layer, by still its not more than medium light. The texture is quite thin and the carbonation is rather light. The finish contains some very simple bitter hops and medium sweet malts. For a pale lager its quite long. All in all, its a nice, to eash drinkable simple beer. Good.

Backlog. Synchronizing with notes and Untappd.
Very sweet for an eurolager. Very malty in aroma. The poorest carbonation of Spanish brews tasted on this holiday.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2016 0.33 l bottle, thanks Robin! Sweetish-malty, slightly grainy and minimally grassy aroma of caramel, straw and a touch of honey. Sweetish-malty, a bit grainy taste of caramel, straw and some honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy and a bit metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
