COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just the right amount of Caramel and Munich malts give Alameda Brewing American Imperial Rye IPA a perfect amber color and mouthfeel. But what is really notable are three new Northwest grown Cascade hop varieties. It’s the spicy, floral and citrus notes that make this beer a favorite.

Couleur du cuivre avec une petite robe tan. L’arôme du malt caramel, du seigle et du pin. En bouche c’est plein du corps avec un peu du malt et seigle au début, et une finale bien amer et un peu sec. Très bien fait.

22oz bottle pours out a copper color topped with a small head. Nose is sweet caramel rye pine and some spice. Taste is more of the sweetness and hop kick. You know i am not a big rye fan but this one was pretty good.

Bottle at tasting. Golden color. Grainy aroma of rye, pine, spice and bitter hop. Taste is mildly creamy, with grassy pine, herbs, grain, hop and a dry yeasty finish. Nice beer.

22 oz bottle. Bottled 2013. Bomber tasting at Timo A.

Dark hops and bitterness in the aroma.
Bitterness, sweet fruity and piney hops and sweetish malt in the flavour. Not very fresh.

TET (3232) - Kaarina, FINLAND - MAR 18, 2015
Bottled 05/16/2014, thus 10 months old bottle. A copper brown beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma has strong toffee and slightly caramell maltyness, lots of wood, some pine. Slightly weakening hoppyness, still quite fresh. Taste has toffeeish maltyness, wood, some herbal-pine hops, the bitterness is drying the strong maltyness, almost menthol in the end. Almost full bodied, quite fresh. The bottle is sadly too old but the great potential is there even the aromatic notes are suffered. Good body, balanced and strong bitterness.

650 ml bottle. Pours an orange copper colour with a small lacing head. Aroma of sweet caramel, herbal notes and rather heavy hoppiness. Flavour of crisp heavy herbal hops, bread, rather heavy sweetness, alcohol and grains. Medium bodied. A bit harsh mouthfeel. Nicely hopped but too sweet for my taste.
