This is one naughty rabbit. With most cream ales ranging around 5% ABV, Bad Bunny is 8.2% ABV due to large quantities of Pilsner malt and candy sugar. Flaked maize and Czech Saaz hops also lend this beer a characteristic cream ale flavor and aroma while complimenting with a subtle spiciness.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 5/5   TASTE 2/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 6/20

UPDATED: APR 6, 2013 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Made in Oregon. Aroma: lightly hoppy and citrusy. Appearance: large, frothy, white, initial head with fair lacing and fully lasting longevity. Hazy, dark-yellow/light amber body with tiny body particles. Taste: lightly yeasty initial flavor and harshly sweet finish with long duration. Palate: light body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation. Overall: maybe I got a bad bottle of this. It began great--excellent aroma and appearance, good initial flavor . . . and then the syrupy sweet finish kicked in. I haven’t had anything this sweet before--not even soda. I’d try this again (because everything was great until the finish), but if it’s supposed to be this sickly sweet, forget it.

Rated based on notes taken 9 Aug 2012 -- Doesn’t taste much like a cream ale. More like an unhoppy version of a DIPA. Kinda misses the mark for me.

22 oz bottle. Aroma: malty and fruity, with hints of strawberry, biscuit, and caramel. Taste/Palate: sweet and creamy; finishes slightly tart.

Poured from a 22. Aroma is like an overspiced winter ale. Flavor is sweet like cotton candy at first and then a bit skunky to finish. Couldn’t quite place all the flavors, mostly fake orange and cotton candy. Has a creamy mouth feel, like a bad cream soda.

Bottle: Poured a coppery orange with a thin white head. Aroma was sweet grassy. Taste is a sweet candy with mix of grains and malts. Weird combo that doesn’t make me happy.

The appearance was a hazy golden amber colored body that is slightly transparent with a two fingered creamy white foamy head. It ends up leaving some light clingy lacing. The smell had some corn adjunct malts and light hops. The taste was mainly sweet through the corn malts. There is a light corn aftertaste with a creamy finish (which tells me its a cream ale). On the palate, it sits light and is fairly sessionable. The carbonation is subdued and cream-like due to its style. Overall, well, if anything, its good for its style as there’s nothing wrong in that department, but to make an "imperialized" version just says its a quicker getting drunk beer on the first day of baseball season. I’m unsure if I would have this again.

Yellow pour with a huge white head. The aroma is full of orange, wheat and cream. The flavor is different. I get some strong cream notes, as well as some grain, grass, biscuit, yeast and pepper. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22 oz wax dipped bottle- Pours clear golden with a large three finger white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, kind of corny. The taste is sweet pilsner malt and very floral, the alcohol is noticeably there leaving an alcohol taste after the swallow. Body is medium and mouth feel is creamy. Decent, but I think the Idea of a cream ale is for it to be sessionable, what’s next, an imperial session ale.

Stunned by the bad reviews on ratebeer for this one; I find it wonderful. Slightly sugary and sweet malty flavors, with a creamy mouthfeel. But, there's a kick of bitterness to keep things interesting. Incredibly full flavored cream ale, which typically are uninteresting or sugar bombs. Recommended in this style! 650 ml bottle. Pours amber with medium head. Light aromas of cotton candy, malts, and cereal. Yikes, more sugar than malts! Possibly a bit of toast, honey, and floral notes. But the sugar/syrup content kills everything else. Extra negative marks off for the wax cap and extra farting around required to open the bottle. Who is impressed by wax?

Hazy gold, lasting white head.Nose of corn & light spice. Corny grainy alcoholic palate, spicy notes. Quite unpleasant
