Hazy light amber color, with creamy head. The aroma is quite anonymous for an IPA. The body is quite strong, the mouthfeel is smooth, but the flavor is stale, some malt and old wet cereals; it has a strong bitterness level, but no real hop qualities.
Bottle split at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25/09/14.
Almost clear golden copper with a decent off white covering.
Nose is light plastic, spice, caramel, bitter citric notes, toffee.
Taste comprises toffee, dark fruit rinds, earthy bitterness.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
So so for stlye, more like an ESB! mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 23, 2012
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium off-white head. Nose if full of buttery, floral hops, with some dry earthy notes. Flavour is the same, with dry, bitter, earthy hops, a subtle floral kick and just enough malt to back, though still quite unbalanced is it has a noticeable astringency. Decent, middle-of-the-road IPA. Benzai (16569) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 29, 2014
