On tap at Alameda in Portland--Poured a rich orange-copper body with a attractive wispy white head. Nose of bold fruity hops. More floral than bitter. Finished sharp and full-flavored. Perhaps the best beer from this brewery. A+! mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Dark orange pour. Leans resin-forward. Unusually viscous. Sufficiently bitter. Good, but nothing special. B-

On Tap at Alameda Brewing Co. Portland, OR Pours out a cloudy amber topped with a small white head. A nice aroma of hops. Tast more of citus hops a nice light bitter end very good IPA. Reid (2541) - Salem, Oregon, USA - FEB 15, 2010
22 oz bomber..no mention or ’orgainic" on the label.
In appearance this is already an odd IPA, darker amber with a small bubbly, frothy tan head.
Strong citrus like hop aromas, but also stong breadyness from the malts.
very balanced flavours the citric hopping and very strong semi-sweet malts shining though..
God enough o the palate..nice lingering finish.
Overall a strange one. Almost an American Strong Ale rather than an IPA in my opinion.

Citrus hops, sweet and resinous aroma. Sweet, light caramel flavor. Citrus, resinous hops. Bitter aftertaste. Kind of too sweet; good otherwise. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - SEP 4, 2007
Tap. Heavy IPA! This should be an Imperial IPA! Light orange color. Floral sweetness aroma. Floral bitterness taste. raphael (1254) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 12, 2008
On tap at mickey finn’s. drk amber with thin head, aroma a little placid but pine, caramel, oak. good carbonation with just a shade of weight in the mouth. some edgy bitterness, some clash of citrus and resin & maybe the malt itself, having some presence. better than I expected BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - JUN 5, 2008
This was actually suprisingly good. Most of their stuff ranges from good to mediocre, but this I really enjoyed. The nose has big fruity hop aromas, lots of citrus and an actual malt presence. Suprisingly bitter in the finish. Tasty and refreshing. anders37 (26657) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 4, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy pine needles aroma with hints of grapefruit. Sweetish malty hoppy piny and grapefruit flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish.
