This is a slightly thicker than normal robust porter, but if you are not a hazelnut fan stay far far away. More of that in the nose and palate than anything else, but some roasted malt and caramel comes through as well. I enjoyed this. Bomber from Tavour. bpreo (2943) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 5, 2016
Great aroma. I guess it smells like Hazelnut. Either way, it tastes just as good as it smells. Reid (2622) - Salem, Oregon, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Pint from Growl Movement in Salem OR.
Dark mahogany coloured ale with a small attractive beige head.
Lactic.chocolate hazelnut aromas..very interesting.
Taste is similar to aromas..very milky creamy taste..yet bitter chocolate and nuts show through. Very good.
Great creamy smooth mouth feel..excellent.

Pours an opaque dark brown with a thick caramel head. Aroma is all oats. Taste is bland with a heavy amount of nuts. Not really that good at all. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Bottle. Pours a near black color with a smallish tan head on it. Nose is pretty roasty, with a little bitnof nuttiness coming through on it. Taste is very slightly sweet, with a fair amount of roasty bitterness coming through. Light and easy to drink. I like it. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2014 A nutty fragrance dominates but is supported by aromas of roasted malt and perhaps vanilla. Pours as black as a crow’s butt with no head and no lacing. The taste is roasty, bitter chocolate, charred grain and hazel nuts. Medium body with medium carbonation. Round mouth feel. Overall, an enjoyable and tasty porter poisoneddwarf (2644) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Black wax-dipped bomber. Nice Halloween-ish label with bats, the crow, full moon, graves. I guess I got to this one a little late. Aroma is slightly nutty, roasty, black coffee, fresh baked bread, chocolate. Pours opaque black with brown edges and a small tan collapsing head. Taste is sweet, roasty, lightly nutty. Mouthfeel is velvety, body medium to near full. Pretty good, but I wish they would have made the hazelnuts more prominent. None of this nuanced shit. Give me full palate-saturating flavors when you put out a flavored beer, please. fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 23, 2013
Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
The color is almost black, with beige head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Good roasted malt flavor, with light acidity, roasted malts, not specifically hazelnuts.
Good, balanced, well brewed.
