From the tap at the Pump House Restaurant in Fairbanks poured a amber brew with a white head. Malty aroma and flavor with a slight hop finish. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 23, 2016
short lasting head and low lacing that stick around... true amber.. very nice color.
aroma is very clean.. with caramel and bigger toasted malts.. only the slightest spicy hops make themselves known.
palate is again... very very clean.. very drinkable... yummy.. biscuity with low citrus/floral hops. lite to medium body and better than adequate carbonation. Msgriffi (48) - - AUG 23, 2016
Beautiful deep cooper color with red hues and brown undertones. Head is light and dissipates quick. Good Carmel and toffee sweetness, a touch dark fruits and roasted malts. Hops just to balance out and the finishes crisp. Hops slightly longer just enough to keep it from getting sticky. Very very drinkable. A very good Amber (even though it is an alt).

bottle, hopped pretty heavy. Moderate malt flavors, really an altbier? Ok, its an amber IPA to me

Bottle from Anchorage. Golden, medium carbonated with creamy head, light malty nose, light creamy taste with metallic hints and slight staleness. Lacks a bitter finish, just has a creamy aftertaste. A bit watery on the palate. Not for me.arn8897 (392) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2016

Pours brown to red with a white head. Aromas of malt. Tastes the same with a little hops at the finish. A little sweet on the palate. Thin mouth feel. Not bad but nothing special. Hallstein (483) - Skogn, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2016
0,33 bottle at a hotel bar in detroit - Powerful malty aroma with slight caramel and breadcrust. The flavor is also quite malt forward with a firm maltyness. Toasted bread. Quite crisp with a balanced finish and slight noble hops. sirzekel (64) - Georgia, USA - JUL 21, 2016
Had at the Grand Denali Lodge, on tap. Really good. KT took it and loved it.

Bottle shared with Ran & Dale at their house in Escondido, CA, 21.4.16. Clear dark amber gold with a white head. Malt and biscuit in the nose, Ofel sensed a little bit of ginger, too. Malty and biscuity and nutty and nice taste. Light-to-medium body, soft bitterness and soft fizz, nutty and malty finish.
