UPDATED: SEP 13, 2017 Clear golden colour, smallish head went to the sides of the glass leaving some lacing behind. Aroma has lemon, grapefruit some sweet fruits too and caramel malts. Taste is sweet with fruits then lemon and grapefruit comes in and in the middle there is some of that barley malt sweetness. Ends with slight bitterness. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of nice resinous new world hops and a clean biscuit pale malt backbone. Taste is more balanced, with a good hop presence, while still being assertive on the malt to back it up. It blends the line between pale ale and IPA, but I'm ok with that, I rather enjoyed it.

OK! So excited to get a beer from alaska, right? Well, considering, in murhicka beers are easily available from ’round dah werld. Any who, drank it right from the bottle, pop it and drink it, assuming its clear pale yellow. Flavor? Yes, when you swig the big brew, you know the contents of this bottle is 5.7%, it shows it. Wants to be an IPA with all that hoppy bullshit but never quite gits thar. Yes, typical APA, its an IPA wanna bee. Let me tell yah, the mildest american APA are the best and well, this is quite an impression. It has too much personality to be a small town civilized APA, heheheh, do you think they do it better in old euro? Go figger; if you like mildly hopped IPA, this is fer yuooooooh.

24oz plastic cup at Safeco Field. Lingering offwhite head, clear amber orange body. Lots of cracker malt on sip. Malty, hopless nose. This tastes stale, and I blame it on the stadium. Pale, cracker, some lemony hop note. Not terrible.

I've tasted a lot of Alaskan beers but never seen this one before. I would definitely drink it again, the flavor was very light for a pale ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very nice pale ale. Nice hop aroma. Flavor is light enough to be a pale ale.but has good hop flavor. Solid beer.

Bottle BEST BY 072817. Nose big and fruit, big citrus, rind and peel; sweet and candy-like. Pour slightly-dull orange with a rocky beige head. Taste dry and hinting at more, with medium bitterness, big resin, scratchy paper throughout; sweetness is there but just from the hop oils and pleasant. Oily on the whole, otherwise a stiff, dry medium body, quenches and calms, mildly soapy. Pretty excellent for a standard / flagship, maybe a touch too floral for everyday drinking with me, but certainly wouldn’t mind a few every week. [2017.06.11: 3.6]

Excellent american-style Pale Ale. Aroma is pretty good with fruity slightly resin Hops and some biscuiti caramel malt to balance it out. Appearances about average. Flavor is where it really shines with really good balanced flavors that are not overdone in any way but full and Rich. Excellent body and finish. Very good drinking beer.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is a nice pine resin hop with floral hops and some caramel malt. Flavor is some of the pine hop with some English style dry malt. A little hit of bitterness comes after the swallow. Decent old school type pale ale.
