Bitterbill (2113) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - JUL 21, 2012
I had this today at the Wonder Bar in Casper. It poured a bright and clear gold with an inch of billowy foam that left a lot of lacing behind after every sip. The smell is hoppy...biggest notes came from the citra hops; citrus and light hints of tropical fruit. There’s some earthy malt in there as well. The taste brought the citrus to the forefront, lemon-tropical fruit-grapefruit, followed by some earthy/grainy notes from the malt. The finish is decidedly bitter and quite dry. Good mouthfeel overall. It’s a very nice, hop forward APA that I found very damn drinkable and refreshing. Who’d have thunk that I’d get to drink it in Casper Wyoming? Very nice indeed, Alaskan Brewing!

olio (10919) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 12, 2012
Draught @ Horse Brass Pub, Portland.
Pours hazy amber color with small head. Aroma of hops, mild malts, fruits and caramel. Flavour of malts, hoppy citrus fruits, caramel and hay. A bit straightforward. Nice hoppy aroma though.

Denali Park Salmon Bake, Denali National Park, Alaska. Draft. Nice hoppy aroma, slightly orangey. Copper color, quick-fading head, no lacing, but it is hot as a furnace in here. Smooth hop flavor. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Love the hops in this one. Very smooth taste and great color. Wish the brewery would make this one more often!

SHIG (5330) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - APR 29, 2012
Draft at Tap Root Beer and Mead Social: Poured a coppery orange color with off white head. Aroma is strong citrus fruit, piney hops, and light malt. Taste was very lively hops with citrus, piney, strong bold flavor, simple malts allowed for the beer to be balanced. I really enjoyed how this left my mouth eager for another sip.

AmEricanbrew (7081) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - OCT 19, 2011
[email protected] Clear amber color/ ivory head. Nice cat spray, honey biscuit, floral aromas. Smooth medium body. Subtle floral, pine sap hoppy flavors ride a solid honey biscuit lightly sweet base brew--very good.

savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 22, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2012 On tap in Anchorage. Clear deep orange with a small, dense white head. Aroma of Pac NW hops, citrus, pine and flowers with a faint malt presence. Flavor is full of hops but with a medium bitterness, malt is there for balance and leaves a nice lightly toasty finish. Medium to light in body with average carbonation and a clean, refreshing mouth feel. Great Pale, lots of hop flavor with a clean bitterness.
