Tried this on tap at the Alaska Lodge (Sea-Tac Airport) . Great smooth flavor with just enough hops to give it a nice edge. Nice beer to kill 3 hours while waiting for my next flight.

Bottle from Costco. Clear light amber with neat head that goes down at a normal rate. Med low aroma of citrus and tropical fruit hops with a low malt aroma. Taste also of malt and tropical fruit hops. Bitterness is too low, making the beer seem watery. Thin palate with no other sensations. Dry finish with no significant aftertaste.

Pours a clear, bright orange with minimal lace. Aroma is of fresh hops and vibrant citrus. Tastes of citrus with strong bitterness at the front end. Overall, this is a very solid, fresh APA.

Pours a chill hazed golden orange on tap with fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave good lace. Aroma of citrus hop notes and biscuit malt. Taste follows, clean and crisp, easy drinker. Really nice for what it is.

Bottle sample in Sioux Falls. Clear amber color, light tan head. Aroma of floral citrus. Taste is fruity caramel. Decent.

Nice Hoppy aroma, with slightly darker golden color. Excellent hops with subtle malt flavor. This is currently my #1 favorite drinking beer. (Not a fan of the term "session" beer, It makes beer drinking sound too structured - "my friends and I have scheduled a beer session for 2 weeks from Friday"....) Anyway, this is a great and very drinkable beer - can be a little hard to find in Colorado. One more reason to move to Alaska.

12 Fl. Oz. Can. Poured deep golden in color, clear, abundant off white head, lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mostly hops and some malts. Slightly bitter taste with some sweet malty notes. Quite easy to drink, very enjoyable.

This was the best thing in their mix pack. It pours light amber and presents a nose of hops and malt with ample, but not strong, carbonation. The taste is perfectly true to style with a caramel malt base, a bit of sweetness, and a balanced dose of bittering hops. The body is medium and quite sessionable. I would drink this often and it pairs well with many foods.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark golden color. The aroma is of dry hopping. The flavor is the same, nice bitterness and hop nose. I do not often drink this style of beer, but Alaskan has created a very nice APA.

12 can on a flight from Portland to Honolulu. BB 1/9/16. Clear deep golden color with a mid-size off-white head. Dark fruity hops, sweetness, tropical fruits and caramel malt in the aroma. The flavor is piney and fruity hops, darkness, moderate bitterness and caramel malty sweetness. 78 23 67 3 134 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
