This is my favorite IPA hands down. Which is a shame because it's not a Michigan brew, and I'm really incredibly proud of all the great beers we produce here in the mitten state. It is my mission to find a Michigan beer that I like more than this. ☺

Mostly clear full amber brown with thick frothy head. Cat piss bitter hop aromas. Hops and grain hit about the same time much smoother then expected but still full flavors. Lasting grainy hop left behind. cernjoh (183) - Ohio, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Poured from a bottle into an Alaskan Brewing pint glass. Aroma is of grass and straw, reminds me of a fall day. Appearance is a clear golden amber with a thick two finger creamy head that lingers through the session. Taste is a semi sweet grassy straw hop flavor with a slight bitterness at the finish. Overall well balanced. Palate is very good with a slight creaminess to it. Overall a great double IPA I’d stack up against any other. Well worth trying and I highly recommend this beer. Delightful! Pours amber, lots of head and lots of lacing. Aromas of peach, grapefruit and syrup. Tastes medium bitter. Mouth had nice carbonation, full sticky body. Quite malty. Delicious! lukasscheeks (1) - - FEB 17, 2015 does not count
Great amount of hops. Kind of surprises you at first with the kick it’s got. Good one beer buzz and a must have for any IPA enthusiast.

I thought this was excellent. Definitely strong but has a great hop flavor with a lot of late grapefruit. Quite tasty. nran17 (4) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2017 does not count
Pours deep golden orange. Great hop and floral character. Great mix of bitter hops and malt backbone. One of my new favorite beers.

Slightly sweet with a clean piney finish. Nice copper color. Very fresh with nice lacing in the glass. Overall a very smooth and decisions DIPA. fitwitchik (433) - Ohio, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Poured from a bottle into a Alaska Brewing Pilot Series Pint glass a golden orange with a white head that laced beautifully down the side of the glass as the brew was drained.
Aroma is slight sweet grasses (smile)
Flavor is better than aroma. Resin grass with a citrus bitter finish. Smooth. Extremely drinkable. Balanced flavor like so few can do. Outstanding! Ctplt777 (530) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - MAR 29, 2014
Son let me just explain this beer. Big citrus blast upon opening, big citrus and pine ripe tropical fruit taste. Dry as hell. Malty balance. Just punches you in the mouth in the best way. This are insane good and for 8.5% abc you can’t even tell. Exceptional beer. Drink tons of these.
