3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear light gold with a tall white head.
The aroma is largely pine resin with just a touch of honey malt at the end.
The flavor is mildly bitter but doesn’t go much of anywhere from there.
A bit washy on the tongue.
Pours a light golden light boozy head. Aromas light pine, slight maize, light floral, light grass and medium citrus. Flavors are less than the aromas with light pine and citrus mixed with grass and maizes in the finish. Medium bitter lightly sweet and lightly dry. 12oz Flasche. Orange-gelbe Farbe. Kräuteriges Hopfenaroma. Runder Geschmack. Gutes IPA. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2015
Drank in July. Decent IPA that had good hop flavor and was fairly smooth. A little fruity on the nose and palate which was refreshing. coreyc1221 (319) - Truckee, California, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Pine and sweet hops aroma. Beautiful clear amber golden color. Mid white head. Malty heavy ipa start with a drying aftertaste. Nekronos (4174) - Xalapa, MEXICO - MAR 22, 2014
Not so bitter either, but nice to drink. Some creamy features and quite dark. nice with some snacks too.

Only ipa I can get at the Omni hotel in Dallas. After having it several times it's grown on me. Not in my top 10 but still decent.
Malty with medium hop. Almost a cross between ipa and pa. Can't see the color in the dark bar.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2014 12 oz bottle from Tipsy?s. Gold and clear with a lacy white head. Aroma is hoppy and bitter with herbs, flowers and spruce. Similar flavor with crisp malts and a lingering bitter finish. Medium body. 2.9. Update: I thought Icy Bay was a little better than their old one, probably around 3.1. Not impressed, but have no idea how old the bottle is. Wish all breweries would date their bottles. Drinkable as a session ale, but hops are faded. wlajwl (6942) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 24, 2014
Aroma is light pine, citrus and a hint of spice/heat. The flavor is light grapefruit, citrus, malts a pretty dry finish. Not bad if a little one-dimensional.
