COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The hop-dominant flavor and aroma might make you think this is a “bigger” beer, but the drinkable, thirst-quenching attributes of Kicker are enhanced by a lower alcohol content. A light caramel or toffee malt background and light to medium body mouth feel make this session ale a satisfying brew. The aroma delivers a bright hop aroma of citrus, such as grapefruit and tangerine, with a light malt backbone. The hop flavors can be truly fruity, with tangerine and strawberry notes coming from Citra and Amarillo, and a grapefruit and pine taste from Simcoe and Mosaic hops.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head, lots of sheet lacing throughout the entire glass. Aroma is mild, sweet and malty with a light citrus presence. Tastes sweeter overall and minimally bitter. Caramel and toffee. Some light floral and citrus hops, mostly a malty APA that has been toned down.

Was hoping this would better and brighter .. Dark yellow .. Mild foam .. Sea spray, grass, slime, cute green baby turtles .. Mouth is light, no girth .. It’s not that good .. . Well, shit. This hockey game isn’t the violence I was expecting

Bottle pours a clear golden copper with a two finger puffy white head with minimal lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is sharp, not very sweet, flavor is mostly citrus. Bitterness is mild to medium. Aftertaste is a bit hard water like.

Squatty bottle. Pale yellow. Big strong initial IPA hop blast that quickly evolves to something a little less viscous. Yes, turn more into an APA as the session continues. Says best by 10/16. Bout average for an APA. Pretty good co2 clear to the end.

Btl pours a clear golden color with a big fluffy white head that lasts, leaving big curtains of lace on glass. Smells of caramel, pine and citrus. Tastes of light caramel, grapefruit, orange, and a hint of resin. Light body, average carbonation, soft, smooth mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, watery finish. The aromas are very mellow, as are the flavors. I’m not very impressed with this beer. It is very average and boring.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma is grassy and has some orange rind aspects to it. Taste is dry and pithy, somewhat resinous. Bitter throughout. Lighter to medium body and moderate carbonation.

Bottle sample, thanks rayaron. Hazy orange golden. Aroma of stale hops and honey. Bitter-sweet, grassy, malty, citric, herbal, honey, cardboard flavors. Light-medium bodied, smooth. Probably better when fresh.
