This has similarities to other hop-heavy citrus tasting brews, but the pine taste is a notable difference from other IPAs. I find it to be pleasant when paired with spicy sweet foods having coconut flavor, like Tom kha kai, or a coconut curry. This context moves the flavor back and forth between grapefruit and bitter dandelion. I think if you like this, you may also like the seasonal Winter Ale with the addition of actual spruce tips, but the alcohol content is higher. Onslow (1554) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - DEC 24, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear yellow amber with small white head. Great aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is moderate caramel malt with a solid citrus and tropical frut. Lighterpalate. A solid IPA and above average Session IPA. kerenmk (5373) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 4, 2017
Bottle sample at a tasting at Naama's. Thanks Dan P. Clear gold and bubbly. Old citrusy hops, a little toast in the nose. Malty and fruity and sweet and slightly bitter taste. Light body, soft fizz, rather abrupt and lightly malty finish. jake65 (4034) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - AUG 11, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head, lots of sheet lacing throughout the entire glass. Aroma is mild, sweet and malty with a light citrus presence. Tastes sweeter overall and minimally bitter. Caramel and toffee. Some light floral and citrus hops, mostly a malty APA that has been toned down. Was hoping this would better and brighter .. Dark yellow .. Mild foam .. Sea spray, grass, slime, cute green baby turtles .. Mouth is light, no girth .. It’s not that good .. . Well, shit. This hockey game isn’t the violence I was expecting

Bottle pours a clear golden copper with a two finger puffy white head with minimal lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is sharp, not very sweet, flavor is mostly citrus. Bitterness is mild to medium. Aftertaste is a bit hard water like. cheap (6256) - CHINA - FEB 8, 2017
Squatty bottle. Pale yellow. Big strong initial IPA hop blast that quickly evolves to something a little less viscous. Yes, turn more into an APA as the session continues. Says best by 10/16. Bout average for an APA. Pretty good co2 clear to the end. Livendadream (279) - New Mexico, USA - JAN 15, 2017
Btl pours a clear golden color with a big fluffy white head that lasts, leaving big curtains of lace on glass. Smells of caramel, pine and citrus. Tastes of light caramel, grapefruit, orange, and a hint of resin. Light body, average carbonation, soft, smooth mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, watery finish. The aromas are very mellow, as are the flavors. I’m not very impressed with this beer. It is very average and boring. JStax (7396) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 27, 2016
12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma is grassy and has some orange rind aspects to it. Taste is dry and pithy, somewhat resinous. Bitter throughout. Lighter to medium body and moderate carbonation.
