Bomber shared by Malrubius I think. POurs a deep dark near black- oily, good frothy head- lasting. Aroma is toasty, nutty big chocolate followed by good grassy citrusy hops, orange, grapefruit and slight weedy dank hints. Flavor is chocolate, toast, grass, floral hops, resin and light pine. Solid easy drinking finish- pretty fresh and good overall. OldMrCrow (2443) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Bomber. I was a bit disappointed by this one. Nice enough nose combining roast with hop juice, but the flavors were off. Grapefruit juice in a mocha, with a side of cauliflower. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Bomber that leems shared with me in his beer basement in Portlandia. Poured a super dark brown with an inch and a half of cocoa foam. Smells of roast, chocolate, caramel, a little orange rind perhaps. Not a lot of hoppiness in the smell. Flavor was also much bigger on roasted malts than any sort of hop flavor, with a little chocolate and caramel in there as well as the hint of hop bitterness in the finish. Not at all what I expected, but I still enjoyed this brew. Nalu (217) - Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Tap @ Parkway. Dark brawn pour with a short tan head leaving moderate lace. Moderately hoppy nose with some fruit and pine aromas up front. Chocolate, coffee and earthiness take over and last through a long, chocolatey finish. Medium body, lightly carbonated. Balanced on the sweet side of an IPA, but very drinkable. Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Dark red/brown - offwhite head. Roasted, chocolate, berries, light smokey notes, fruity, bitterness, ok medium hoppy, high malty. OK.

22 oz. bottle purchased online at Northwest Liquid Gold and shared with my wife. Pours just about black with a moderate luscious brown head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left extensive lace. The aroma is wonderful with a combination of malt, molasses and pine that is just excellent. The flavor is malt with a bit less molasses than the aroma, pine and fruity grapefruit. Moderate bitterness at the finish is not overdone and compliments the lingering malt flavor nicely. This is a delicious Black IPA, and man do I wish I bought more than one bottle! fonefan (49554) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2010

Clear dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, nutty, caramel, chocolate, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate combined with medium notes of alcohol and flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and flowery hops, leading to a dry cocoa finish. The alcohol is tickling the tongue. joergen (28394) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010
