Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate combined with medium notes of alcohol and flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and flowery hops, leading to a dry cocoa finish. The alcohol is tickling the tongue. joergen (28411) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010

Bottle at CaptainCougar’s local tasting, thanks! Dark maroon, tan head. Aroma of earthy malts. Taste is bitter charcoal. Not bad. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a very dark mahogany with a warm reddish hue and a small beige head. Hard roast and juicy hops in the nose. Medium body, again a solid roastiness, dark fruits and a massive bitterness. Somewhat citric also. The finish clearly has some roasted malty bitterness as well. 221110 mcberko (18081) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 3, 2010
On tap at TCBF, pours black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Flavour begins like a porter/stout with a rich roasted malts, and ends with a hop punch like a great IPA. Wonderful one. jtclockwork (16691) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 28, 2010
Bomber at Paul’s tasting. Pours black with tan head. Nose of grapefruits, peel, hops and chocolate malts. Taste is same with little pine in the finish. bhensonb (15345) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 13, 2010
Bomber from Nugget Market in West Sacramento, CA. Pours really dark brown with a foamy 2 finger tan head. Dark malt aroma with some floral hop. Full bodied with creamy/foamy carbonation. Flavor is very dark malt, there’s a moderate heat burn, and there is chocolate and a mix of hops. Pretty busy ale. Finishes like a hopped stout, sort of. GFB!
