Bomber - different label on mine (red bouy with seals on it). It pours a clear amber with orange hues and a med off white head. Balanced aroma between hops and malts- a bit of caramel, bread, citrus and resinous hops. Similarly balanced in flavor as well - citrus hops meld into caramel malts and into a piney hop finish. the brew is very clear orange.... great crusty lacing for the entire glass.
Nose is punctuated by a big blast of citrus zest.... tangerine and meyer lemon... a little bit of malt sweetness.
Flavor begins with a brazing citrus oil hoppiness... resinous and bitter from mid palate to the finish... a lite malt sweetness makes me think crystal more than just residual malt... pretty balanced really.
Body is medium with a good standard carbonation.
I would have preferred this one to be a touch drier Andrew196 (1978) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAY 20, 2016
Hazy marmalade in color, medium bright white head. Aroma of citrus and resin. Medium bodied, resiny and sweet, slightly boozy towards the end. rougeau13 (3157) - Richmond, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2016
Deep hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel. Taste is quite malt-forward with low bitterness. Medium bodied. Decent beer, mediocre IIPA. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - NOV 29, 2015
Pours a golden amber color with a white head. Resin, floral, caramel, pine, burnt rubber and oxidation aroma. Pine, resin, floral, grapefruit, mango, peach, caramel, biscuit and mild oxidation flavors. Medium full body and average carbonation. Resin, pine and biscuit finish. Probably would have been better if it was fresher.

Cloudy deep gold with a thin and sticky rocky white head. Big musty and floral/herbal hoppy nose. A bit of fruity ale brightness as well. Big bitter and boozy flavor that’s full of pine and grassy notes with a punch of grapefruit zest, particularly through the finish. Big earthy and leafy bitterness that kinda drowns out the flavor nuances. But if you concentrate hard enough, you can get some gooseberry and orange zest and a touch of sweet lemon. It’s not shabby, probably one of those beers better on tap within a week of brewing. You can taste the potential, but it’s muddled by a boozy body, more grassy hops than what’s necessary, and too much bitterness. There is also this nice carabiscuit malty tone that shines through as the beer warms a bit. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Pretty big, thick and bitter. Resinous and a little fruity, with a bitter finish. About average for the style. WillRunForBeer (2735) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 27, 2015
Pours orange gold with an off white head. Aroma is mango, tangerine, a hint of scallion. Flavor follows, caramel sweet, tropical mango, tangerine. This is good, drinks too easy! Chalumeaux (1659) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 27, 2015
Poured from tap at Aces and Ales Vegas clear gold with a nice white head. Aromas of pine malt hop and mild citrus. Taste is slightly floral with a dry hop grassy resin finish. AWISLguy (3283) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 16, 2015
Bomber from the Malt Shoppe in Tosa. Pours orangey copper with an off-white head. Some coats of lace hung around down through the glass. Aroma has big citrus, pine and caramel - quite strong with floral hops. Taste is big overlayered hops. Chewy resin, pine, grapefruit all on a solid caramel malt base. Flavor blend solid but not ideal. Medium bodied and chewy. Finishes much to the bitter side of bittersweet. Solid, strong and chewy. Nice! 13.9
