Draught at Malt & Vine, RedmondBVery (10711) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Dark amber color, clear. Nice hoppy aroma, resiny and fruity. Caramel flavor, not too sweet, with good hopping level, and good contribution of hop resins, some orange peel too.
Good, clean beer.
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2014 Sampled at ABR. Clear orange/amber pour. Notes of grapefruit, chamomile, and lemon. Finish is a bit rough. Frahmo (316) - Idaho, USA - SEP 27, 2014
22oz bottle from the Co-OP, mahogany pour with a light brown head that lingers. Nice malty aroma with a tinge of citrus. Strong malt backbone with a subtle sweet/citrus finish. Lingering malt flavors make this a great drinker. The glass is empty and you want more!! One of my favorite big reds so far. Dogbrick (13376) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2014
Pours a dark reddish-amber color with a thick foamy off-white head that dissipates gradually. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty with caramel and fruity hops in the background. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, citrus and mild piney hops. The finish is malty up front with a resiny hops aftertaste. Above average overall. Amber-red. Sweet caramel, touch of alcohol, earthy notes, light citrus and a full body.

Pours slightly cloudy brown with ruby highlights. Medium tan head that dissapates. Aroma is strong alchohol, dank citrus hops and caramel malt. Taste is morecof the same with some bitterness and a touch more tropical fruits. Its just too much. slowrunner77 (12429) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 16, 2014
"Another big red going for balance between Carmel chocolate and nutty malts and sweet and bitter citrusy hops. Pretty well done though not enough to justify the price tag."

Pour from 12oz bottle. Clear deep red brew with one finger of dense tan head. Great aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, a little caramel. Taste is sweet at the start, a light resinous bitter up front, moderately complete fruity towards the end and then with a drier finish. A little boozey at the very end. Nice. gkeh (482) - Texas, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Pours a dark ruby red color, foamy beige head that provides excellent lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, red barley, mild grapefruit, some pine, spruce, and honey. Taste follows the aroma nicely. Medium bodied, this is a very good beer! SudsMcDuff (8462) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2014
well, i really don’t like reds or imperial reds so but i have to try them all . . pours a deep ruby tan .. lots of bangin foam head . fantastic lacing .. . a bit warm in the throat .. . deep caramel and red malts .. . a very well made beer, balanced beautifully .. . . Did you ever spell a word so bad that your spell check has absolutely no clue what you’re trying to spell? What do you end up getting, you end up getting, like, a question mark. You got a million dollars of technology just looking back at you like, ’You got me, buddy. Which is pretty amazing because I have all the words.’
