Amarillo, Tx. Party Stop - Coulter St. - 22 oz bomber. Medium copper pour, initial foamy off-white head. Spearmint, apricot fruitiness, some spruce in the resiny aroma. Solid, robust flavor with juicy citrus notes, plenty of sticky caramel sweetness, some pomegranate fruitiness. Some nutty notes in the back end. Thick, rich sticky mouthfeel. Very solid,Alaskan always seems to deliver.

Bottled sample from Happy Harrys. Pours clearish...Malty with roasted rye flavour. Just enough hops to make it very enjoyable for my taste

Clear appearance. Dark copper color. Bubbley off-white head that eventually collapses into a thin collar. Floral notes. I smell cooked maple bacon. Fruitiness. Pineapple notes and a slight smell of olive oil. Love this aroma. Taste like a burnt marshmellow. Oakey taste. Thin texture. Sweet at first but finishes on the harsh side. Definitely giving off the dry mouthfeel like champagne. Aroma was awesome but the taste did not back it up.

wlajwl (7120) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Aroma is rye, malts and citrus/fruit/very slight funk. The flavor is caramel, hops, light toffee, malts, fruit and a mildly but lingeringly bitter finish.

Pretty fresh citrus and spicy rye aroma. Flavor has a little heat and malt, but does a decent job of mimicking the nose. Not too shabby.
