You’d think Texas would be awash in Jalapeno IPAs these days. You would be wrong. It seems ironic to be importing them from Alaska. Grapefruit, light caramel sweetness, chile taste and mild burn in the finish.

22 oz bottle. Bottled 07/04/16. (Canyon Lake Liquor) Rapid City, SD.
Clear amber golden color with a small off-white head. Vegetables, chili, caramel malt and some hoppy notes in the aroma. The flavor is strong resiny hops, sweet caramel malt, moderate bitterness, vegetables, some molasses and mild chili. Warms a bit. Jalapeños are quite subtle.

22oz bottle in Wyoming. Think this is the best beer I had out there - massive hops - big spice from the jalapeno. Mega good beer

Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Peppery, hoppy, grassy, herbal, veggie flavors. Not particularly spicy, or reminiscent of jalapenos. Meh..kind of disappointed

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Chili pepper and light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light peppers. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Chili peppers linger with grapefruit and pine.

Medium copper foamy head. Aromas herbal pepper, pine, light citrus. Flavors light pepper, light pine, light maize finish. Medium sweet lightly bitter. The spicy kick eventually catches up with you. There should be more in the complexities but the peppers, well, they put enough in the mash.....

Bottle (20 oz). Copper color with a tinge of red and off-white head and substantially lacing. Citrus hop aroma with malt and jalapeño. Citrus hops with pineapple notes upfront. Caramel malt with mild jalapeño in the medium finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours an odd clear red with a slight tan head. Smells of smoke, citrus, nuts and a dash of jalapeno. Tastes piney floral and citrus with a slight jalapeno kick, Not really hot. Mouthfeel was medium like a watered down motor oil. Overall? Excellent! The perfect curiosity!
