Opaque black beer, tidy tan head. Softish palate, a little dry. A little bubblegum underneath some even dark malt. Floral sweetness, well integrated. Trace of fruits and a pinch of spice. Off the beaten track and quite drinkable.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, rich molasses and slight wood. Flavour begins very roasty, with wood and charcoal, fading into some dark fruits (especially cherry), and finishing slightly boozy, though it’s well integrated. Excellent. Very dark, thin head. Sweet, caramel, then gets dry and roasty in the finish. Lots of burnt fruit. Odd character. Some porterish elements.
