COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alaskan Raspberry Wheat is an American-style Wheat Ale that highlights the bright flavors and inviting aroma of more than 3,000 pounds of real raspberries added during fermentation. Years of local demand through Alaskan’s Rough Draft program of draft-only releases and a Silver medal from the 2008 Great American Beer Festival make Alaskan Raspberry Wheat the perfect brew to launch the Alaskan Pilot Series.

Good overall flavor, a bit too much of a bitterness in the aftertaste from the raspberries to make it better. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Refined fruit beer. This really blended well and didn’t remind me of a wine cooler. Fruit and wheat aroma. Coppery color with a tinge of pink. The carbonation was good and the feel was dry, especially at the finish. The raspberry hits you first but is supported by the beer aspect. This had the right amount of sweetness, which was not too much. Well crafted.

Cloudy reddish amber with white foam. Aroma is sweet raspberries. Taste is raspberries, wheat/yeast with a slightly bitter finish. Well carbonated. Generally a good beer. Not too sweet. Nice.

Reddish-amber pour with a white head. Aroma is full of wheat and raspberry. Flavor is syrupy raspberries with some wheat and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

bottle @ Borefts 2012 - pours light pinkish with red hue, white head. Nose is faint raspberry, nice and light. Light body with overly sweet and artificial forest fruit taste. Mah..

Copper, red-hued, slight haze, off-white head. Aroma of spicy wheat, biscuit, raspberry evident. Flavor: grainy malt with some spicy wheat, lightly tart raspberries and moderate hop bitterness achieves nice balance. Easy-drinking.

This one surprised me. Cloudy red pour with slightly off white head. Faint fruity nose. The flavor is identical to Leinie’s Berry Weiss except slightly less sweet with more hops in the finish. Much better than I expected. Not bad!

I normally don’t drink flavored beers but this one was very good not to much bitterness from cranberries.

Hazy rust color. Raspberry malty aroma. Taste- malty, some sourness, prominent raspberry but not syrupy. Pleasant! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a reddish-orange color with small head, that dissipates quickly. Strong aroma of raspberries and wheat. Flavor is dominated by the raspberries, with a bitter wheat undercurrent. Not particularly sweet, but an interesting combination of flavors. Mouthfeel a bit on the thin side. Glad I gave it a try, though I’m not sure I’d want another.
