22 bomber to tulip. Pours hazy amber, soapy white head. Aroma of caramel malts, fig, grapefruit, juicy citrus and flowers. Taste of same with a smack of herbal. Very malt forward. Palate is excellent as would be expected from Alaskan. It is an excellent beer, just not my taste. Strykzone (7848) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2017
Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Golden with moderate haze and an off white soapy head. Aroma is malt forward and some fruit is also noted. First sip is indeed a smack of grapefruit. Stone fruit, too, as well as tangerine. A little caramel and more pale malts. hayduke (5742) - Eureka, California, USA - SEP 6, 2017
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours copper with a white head. Nose is both tropical and stone fruit, along with grapefruit zest. Medium body. Resinous mouthfeel. Favor is big on grapefruit rind, and a lot of the fruit. Good balance. Finches quite bitter. Really good. chadski (181) - California, USA - AUG 5, 2017
Flowery aroma. Strong presence of actual grapefruit juice rather than a beer infused grapefruit flavor and bitterness. On the fence about it. FLBH (50) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2017
Bottle at home shared with WingmanWillis thanks to our Portland mate, Frank. Pours clear amber with a thick cream head and minimal carbonation. Aroma is sweet and musty. Taste is sweet citrus. A little more bitter would have scored more highly with me.

Bottle share at H Towers. Thanks to Frank for this. Pours hazy gold with a big white head. Aroma is Grapefruit, a little pine dankness and some orange. Taste is a big Grapefruit hit with a nice long bitter finish. Quite easy drinking for the strength. Decent. TChrome (1481) - North Richland Hills, Texas, USA - JUN 5, 2017
Beer pours cloudy burnt orange color with a big, dissipating egg white colored head. Aroma is very grapefruity with minor earth notes. Really like the bitter flavor. Starts and finishes bitter. Mouthfeel is smooth. Excellent representation. milewide (2352) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 4, 2017
Too sweet for a grapefruit brew! I enjoyed it but it was too malty with little hop bitterness or grapefruit. Very cloudy orange color. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 26, 2017
Grapefruity. Juicy and lightly bitter. Get some sweeter citrus in there too plus a bit of spice at the end. Ibrew2or3 (8989) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAY 13, 2017
22oz sharp shouldered bomber pours with a clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up citrusy flowery hops, a grapefruit meat sense and then a wafer thin blend of tangerine and tangelo. The taste delivers an initial pulse of flowery vaguely citrus hop flavor with only a modest bitter hop bite. The body is a little bit on the prickly side and getting in the way of the experience some. To midway it picks up grapefruit and tangerine flavors that are modestly juicy and moderately bitter. The mild maltiness comes to the surface as well with a sliver of caramel malts. All in all a pretty nice albeit over priced IPA.
