Bottle. Nose grainy, musty (reminds me of certain Euro hops) with subtle and sweet candy overlay. Pour perfectly clear golden leaning to orange, sudsy head. Taste grainy, floral, lightly medicinal, hint of bread but it’s not fresh, thin malt, touch oily. Crisp full body but not fat. Think I’d pass on a second. [2017.06.12: 2.4]

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is sweet, malty, slight earthy hops, cereal, maybe caramel malt or butterscotch, it’s a Kölsch alright. Appearance is amber golden, light tan head, mostly clear. Taste is grainy, earthy hops, corn, somewhat bitter, malt. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, grainy earthy hop aftertaste. Overall, it’s your pretty standard Kölsch.

Clear golden with a white head. Toasty malt and light hop spice. Clean with light cracker in the finish.

Pours a clear darker golden with a decent eggshell head that settles to a film and leaves a few stray spots of lace. Nose involves toasted malt and noble hop spice. Somewhat sweet, somewhat bitter. Medium bodied, active, a bit oily yet crisp with a drying herbal spicy finish. Nice quencher, subtle.

AWISLguy (3053) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 3, 2017
12oz bottle from local grocery store. Golden orange pour with a golden-white head leaving little lacing. Aroma has light sweet fruits, light sweet malts, and sour wheat. Taste is a well blended combination of the three. Not a super tasty blend but it certainly blends the elements well. Medium bodied or a touch less, with solid carbonation and little alcohol presence. Finishes more sour wheaty than tangy fruity. Shrug? Always looking for a good kolsch as the components seem they would make a good brew - unfortunately this is not one. 12.1

Drake (13654) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 15, 2016
12 ounce bottle, 9/10/16. Slightly hazy amber, large fizzy tan head, fair head retention. Aroma of toasted doughy malt and mild floral hops. The taste is bready malts, floral and herbal hops and some faint apricot-like fruits. Medium bodied, crisp, mild lingering bitterness. Solid.

Solid & clean kolsch! Decent pout that has a retaining white head & lacing. Flavor is kind of malty & actually more interesting than most in this style. Not too bad!

3.4
euniceradio (525) - Worthington, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2016
12oz bottle to tulip. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma of fresh white bread from bread machine, small grass, banana. Taste of big bread, raisin, some fruit mostly banana, minute nuttiness. Mouthfeel is mod-thick with smooth balanced finish.
