COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known As Alaskan Belgian Wit

Brewed with coriander, bitter orange peel and malted wheat, Alaskan White Ale has a light and crisp body pleasant tartness followed by slightly spicy aftertaste. The malted wheat gives the beer a more full and lightly malty mouthfeel. There is an aroma and flavor of wheat and coriander, with a dry and refreshingly carbonated finish.

This stuff is fine. It's a bit heavy on the coriander so it has that Fruity Pebbles taste to it but it's just a bit more than is ideal, nothing that ruins it. Otherwise, this is a pretty well brewed example of the style. I find the bitterness very slightly harsh but, again, this is just a bit more than is ideal not a real complaint. It's got a fairly creamy texture and pleasantly vigorous carbonation. This doesn't quite nail the target it's aiming for but is close enough to be really good.

Bottle. Well behaved from the start except for the bog head. Lots of sparkling going on here. Mild taste with a slight metallic hint. Fairly clean, no real bitterness. Not bad. It's GONE!

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazed yellow with small white head. Aroma is lightly spiced wheat and a touch of lemon zest. Flavor is slightly sweet wheat with a touch of coriander. Not bad for what it is.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2017 Clear pale yellow colour with smallish head on top which goes to the sides of the glass. Aroma has spices, coriander, wheat malts, maybe orange peel too. Taste has orange peel, coriander, wheat, light citrus note and ends slightly bitter and dry. Medium body and medium carbonation. Somewhat off with the spices here.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of juicy citrus notes over a hint of spicy wit esters. Taste is a solid Belgian wit with a good citrus note. Decent for the style.

Sample All Pints North; pours hazy yellow gold with a white head; aroma of wheat and coriander with some citrus hints; taste is a little sweet with wheat and citrus fruits, dry finish with some coriander

Nice aromas of fresh orange, spices, fresh bread and orange rind. Nice hazy deep straw color with a huge white head. Sweet up front, more than your average wit. Sweet orange notes melds in nicely with fresh sweet caramel malt. Bitterness balance is good. Some pepper and earthy tones. Slightly slick mouth feel with nice carbonation. Finish on the earthy bitter side but tame. Nicely made.

Light Golden harvest wheat color with pillowlike head. Aroma/tatse: malted-barley, lemongrass, orange zest and coriander. One of the better wheat beers I’ve had.

Perfect beer for the wind down from a hot Iowa day. Bottles served in an Ayinger Brau Weiss glass. Healthy pure white head persists throughout. Small bubble, plentiful carbonation. Hazy, golden color. Enticing pure malt nose tastes exactly as it smells. More body than some of its kind This beer won’t knock your socks off, which would be untoward anyway, but it is a treat and it does quench your thirst, even without adding the orange grove

I thought this was pretty good, certainly not below average as its rating would suggest. Lightly spicy and sweet, it’s a witbier tastes like a witbier. No off flavors or bad aftertaste to speak of
