Formerly known As Alaskan Belgian Wit

Brewed with coriander, bitter orange peel and malted wheat, Alaskan White Ale has a light and crisp body pleasant tartness followed by slightly spicy aftertaste. The malted wheat gives the beer a more full and lightly malty mouthfeel. There is an aroma and flavor of wheat and coriander, with a dry and refreshingly carbonated finish.

from Apothibires - light hazy bronze beer without foam; aroma of cardamom, orange peels and tea; solid but very subtle carbonation; medium-bodied, lively palate; light acidic and gently sweet; decently dry wheaty, peachy finish with lingering notes of cardamom

A slightly hazy, yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is a little spice along with wheat. It has a light body with crisp texture and lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a slightly dry finish.

So I've been slowing my roll drinking beer, ever since summer went away. Now that it is back I've been trying new beers again and it's been good. Alaskan white from the bottle is refreshing and you can taste the wheat... With a hint of spice and citrus not a strong carbonated beer which I really enjoy because that means it can go down the pipe quicker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 July 2015, tap at Alaskan Brewing Company. Pale yellow, clear, almost translucent. Nose is faintly sweet and some coriander. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Dry yeast, slight coriander. This is possibly the most light, dry, and bland wit Ive had. Nice though.

How have I never ticked this one? Surprisingly clear (for a witbier) light orange.. short-lived white head... Soft wheat and coriander.. orange peel seems a little sweet, but not bad.. Very nice when it is soooo hot... Drink colder or a bit of fruity ester arises that seems out of place.. Very nice and always a go-to for me in the summer months.

Aroma: wheat, mellow spices, grain and cereal malts. Appearance: light, hazy yellow, medium, creamy head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters continue, remain light, grain malts, some wheat, spices again, soft carbonation, light body. Overall: OK Witbier, nothing too spectacular though. Bottle at Tracys Crab Shack, Juneau, AK.

Pours a hazy golden/yellow color. Minimal head and lacing. Smells and tastes of citrus and wheat

on tap @ Prospectors / Denai Natl Park AK --- Hazy dirty light amber color, white head cover, sheets of lace. Taste is light sweet malt that adds cookie spices, actually becoming sweeter as it moves to a finish in which hops are nearly out of the equation. Seems more a Hefe that a White, but, regardless, it still works as a light, satisfying brew.

Pours a hazy golden color with a decent head. Aroma of citrus, grain with bit of fruit and spice. Taste of citrus, orange and coriander with bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp and refreshing. Average beer for the style.
