Bottle. Thought I had rated this. Glad I checked. It pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma has some rather strong orange peel and some coriander spice. Maybe some darker Munich type malts that hide any wheat character. The flavor is ok. Kinda like a slightly better, fuller bodied version of Blue Moon. Mostly orange, little coriander, light toasted malt. Pretty sweet and flabby in the finish, but not a bad drinker. Overall, pretty meh even for the style. At least it’s not over spiced. Not bad Wit. Had with Cheryl in Seward. 5.3% ABV. Alaskan is good all the way around.

Alaskan White. From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma of bubblegum. Flavors of cloves and bubblegum. Crisp finish. Popoff91 (124) - Oregon, USA - MAY 29, 2016
12-ounce bottles in a pint glass. A bit stronger on the spices than some other white ales, in a nice way. Only problem is it does hide some of the wheat flavor. Otherwise, a very flavorful beer. OldMrCrow (2446) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 9, 2016

Gold-amber pour. Insipid, sweetish ale with not a lot of wheat beer character and even less by way of distinguishing personality. Nope nope nope.
This was a very good beer a nice blend of malt and hops... It was smooth and finished well it was a nice crystal color and a nice head!

Too clear, too dark (light amber), and not enough carbonation for a wit. There is a low coriander aroma combined with wheat aromas. There is a hint of citrus, not similar to bitter orange. The taste is a bit too bitter for a wit, but ok if not judged within the wit style. Too sharp for a wit. Not a bad beer but just a bad wit.
