On tap at the marathon. Pours orangeish with white head. Flavors of a typical wheat but more subdued. Decent beer. drsordr (2635) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - MAY 30, 2017
So I’m sure setting has a lot to do with this rating. Bottle on the stern of the Celebrity Millennium overlooking Juneau and the setting sun. Nose moderate coriander, clove, spice and light wheat. Taste similar to nose, spices and late mid palate sweet. Some grainy malt late. blahbobbyblah (103) - Texas, USA - MAR 24, 2017

The first time I tried this was at a bar in Skagway, Alaska. Wanted a bit of the hometown vibe. At the time I thought it was pretty decent, had a second one. Now I find it a bit soft. Purchased with five other beers in a mixer at the supermarket. It looks pretty grand. The color is a pleasant medium gold with a slender white head that does yield a steady stream of carbonation. The scent is grain. Its taste is a very light shot at a Belgian-type brew, a small spiciness and a hint of bitterness. Again the grain or wheat overtone and a slimmer of tropical fruit. Oh well. My tastes have just gone a different direction.

This weeks edition of how have I not rated this. Draft 10 oz pour at Yard House. Pours a hazy golden orange with a thin fizz head. Some floral aroma, hinted spice, slight Belgian feel. Flavor is gentle and sessionable. Soft wheat and spices. Gentle orange. Cool and smooth drinking beer. A nice longevity beer for football Sunday. I like it. Shared with wim at his home. Hazy blond colored beer with no head and no carbonation. Herby yeasty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is herby bitter dry. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - AUG 14, 2016
Bottle. Thought I had rated this. Glad I checked. It pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma has some rather strong orange peel and some coriander spice. Maybe some darker Munich type malts that hide any wheat character. The flavor is ok. Kinda like a slightly better, fuller bodied version of Blue Moon. Mostly orange, little coriander, light toasted malt. Pretty sweet and flabby in the finish, but not a bad drinker. Overall, pretty meh even for the style. At least it’s not over spiced.
