Two finger foam. Clear golden. Malty hay notes. Dry dry. Some bitterness. Plain beer. Drinkable.
I was on the lookout for a Danish beer that you can drink every day (and is not brewed by the two big guys). Odense classic is at the intersection of being a lager and an amber. It has a rich, malty caramel taste that never gets old. I also fell in love with its classy bottle design. Most authentic go-to beer in Denmark! wlf (718) - DENMARK - SEP 17, 2017

Can from a rest area shop in Denmark. Aroma is malt, light caramel toffee, light bready, touch of apples. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. More than a bit dusty and very dull.

330 ml can in Odense. THe lager poured golden color with an off white frothy head. The aroma was mild of caramel malts and bread. This is basic large brewer lager for the masses. The can has attractive printing. The medium body lager had average carbonation. The finish was clean with some grassy notes. DraftDodger (1663) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 9, 2016
Copenhagen 9/4 2016. 50 cl can from Føtex. Classic design with the red stripe - remonds me of Trafik Cafeen where you could get Albanis Odense Beer as the cheapest on the price list. Pours clear light amber with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweetish. Light caramel and toffee. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Taste is lightly sweet. Aftertaste is short and sweetish. Only very moderate bitterness. Very generic run of the mill "Classic".
