3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Drank on cask (12 oz) at the brewpub on June 9, 2013. Golden honey, medium head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, well hopped. Pine hop taste, dry grapefruit, bitter lemon herbs. I don’t like the name because it come form the manga Drangon Balls and I’m not a fan of it, but I’m a fan this beer!
From backlog. Cask @ L’Albion. Hazy golden/copper with a medium thick fully lasting head and good lacing. Aroma is quite herbal/vegetal with pine, biscuity malt and grapefruits. Taste is also herbal/vegetal with pine, grapefruits, biscuity malt an moderate bitterness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Fluffy. Long lasting bitterness. Too vegetal for my liking, but again the cask conditionning is top notch.
