bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear amber-chestnut colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malt flavours with caramel dominate, hints of dried fruit (dates, figs) and walnut, pleasant hoppy finish. Good and very moreish.

Thanks to jonas for that one. Bottle looks good, but I dont like that white glass. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts strong, malty, a bit metallically. A bit sourish, still metallically, finish unbalanced. Not so good.

Amber in colour with a sweet malty and toffee flavour with a warming smooth caramel finish.

(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Cara-malty and slightly bready aroma with herbal hops and a tinge of citrus. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, modest carbonation. Mildly bready and subtle nutty (cara-)malty taste with herbal accents; moderately dry and slightly hop bitter finish. Nothing special. 16.I.13

Bottle (donated by quack-Duck!): Deep golden to light amber coloured, clear, small and stable white head, sweetish-toasty nose with caramelly spots, some herbal hops underneath; light sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.3%; caramel in the sweetish-bitter finish. Quite O.K. ...
