Bottled. Clear dark brown. Strong cocoa aroma. Dryish and fairly soft with some tobacco and chocolate. Medium bodied. Diminated by intense cocoa flavour all the way through to the tarry finish. Interesting and tasty, although perhaps not very complex.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, dark brown with an orange glow and a small, beige head. Some smokiness in the nose. Rather full-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and a whiff of peaty smoke and some coffee accents. The bitterness is discreet. Pleasant. 030807 Rasmus40 (21988) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2011

500ml bottle. Black beer with thick frothy dark beige head. Plenty of dark roasted malts, even a bit of toffee. Dark choc/coffee. Quite smooth in mouth, bit of sour liquorice, but a well balanced beer and the best of the bottled Alcazar beers I’ve had. Dark roasted raisins too on the flavour chrisv10 (18497) - DENMARK - NOV 5, 2011
