On tap at Alchemist. Nice fruity hoppy aroma, with grapefruit and citrus rind. Some caramel sweetness; hoppy. Medium-dark amber reddish with mild haze. Thin off-white head. Medium-ligh body with medium-mild carbonation. Nice ale. Good malty sweetness with fruity hops kicking in at the finish; like an irish-IPA. Big hoppiness all the way but smoothed out from the maltiness. Nice bitter clean finish and after. Refreshing.

Deep chestnut red with slight off white head. A bit of caramel malts in the nose and nice malty/toasty finish make this a decent, but not outstanding brew.

On tap at the Alchemist. Murky brown in color with a long lasting creamy tan head. Aroma is light resinous citrus/floral hops with caramel and chocolate. Taste is pretty smooth, with chocolate, caramel, and light citrus. Medium bodied. Finishes malty with a light bitterness.

From 10/26 notes. Growler purchased from the brewery 10/23, drank three days later. Pours a muddy, murky light brown with 1 finger head. Not really red at all. This is not a very visually appealing beer. Nose is earthy greens with some subtle fruity, grassy notes. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side, but with decent carbonation. Taste is vegetal, some hoppy pine notes, salad, greens, hints of butter. Finish is mild bitter, watery, vegetal, leafy. Honesty this was a disappointment, overall it’s kind of a mess. I would probably pass on this one, in its current form, if given the chance again.

Dark copper-red in color with a sparse off-white head. Malty with just a hint of hops. Very drinkable; a good "session" beer.

Thanks Daniel!

Gorgeous color, head, lace. Hoppy nose seeps onto the palate alongside red malts and steeped tea. A little more mild on the palate than I'd like; bring me more flavor and we'll talk. Interesting, though, and glad I got to try it.
