16 oz can at BTV. Unfortunately, there is no date. The aroma has lots of citrus grapefruit and mango notes. Quite aromatic and pleasant. Pours a hazy and opaque golden orange body with a medium white head. Good lacing and good retention. Starts with a good deal of bitter hop character. Somewhat earthy character with some resinous character. The middle has a mildly sweet, chewy malt backbone. Finishes with more grassy and earthy bitterness. This is pretty good. Would like a tad more sweetness, though.

Can a little past its prime. Light citrusy aroma. Gold and hazy with nice head. Balanced in hop/ malt. Notes of citrus, pine, and resin.

Where: A gift enjoyed at a tasting event, thanks Maxbier and dlovell2 and Steve. How: Big can. Appearance is hazy light orange, with soft foam and a ton of floating pieces. Aroma is dank, with loads of citrus and melon. Taste starts very smooth and a little bit sweet. This morphs into a great bitterness with hits of citrus, melon and some pine. Finish is long, and very balanced. Palate is medium, quite sticky, and well carbonated. Absolutely fantastic beer, thanks to Dan for sharing!

Been dreaming of finding another can of this. Went to Stowe (4 months ago!)and found nirvana at the new brewery. Perfection. Liked it better than Heady.

Educators on tap- grassy nose with hints of malty goodness. Translucent straw color with good lacing. Great hop forward and at the end too. Grapefruit and dry citrus

The Citra hop aromas are so wonderful; that slight hint of juicy fruit gum. Tons of hop flavor that over powers the juicy malt sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can. Pours hazy gold with a medium white head. Aroma is resinous pine, grapefruit, lemon, grass, and lime. Taste is grapefruit, lime, orange peel, lemon, and pine. Resinous finish. Fairly high bitterness. Medium body. Average carbonation. Creamy-ish, juicy mouthfeel. Resin gets to be a little palate fatiguing, making some of the citrusy subtleties harder to find by the end of the can. Palate is strong but doesn’t hold a candle to the perfection of Heady Topper.

1 pint can. Quiet pour with moderate carbonation and a rich assertive citrus-floral aroma. The beer has a hazy gold colour with a thin white head and good lace. It has a crisp hoppy start with citrus-grapefruit notes expanding into the middle. The finish is long with pine resin notes adding a new dimension of bitterness to this complex brew. Oh, baby!

Aroma of grapefruit, orange rind and yeast. Taste is hella hoppy grapefruit with yeast and grapefruit.

Ar: Lemon pith, orange, and pine needles; grass, cucumbery malt; lemon and more grassiness. Ap: Yellow-gold and hazy; large white head with very good retention, leaving a dotted trail of suds on the glass sides and a sudsy cap. T: Lots of lemon and lime; resin and lemon pith mid-palate; low sweetness; bitterness is firm with a tangy citrus and pine flavor; bright citrus carries through to the finish, mingling with a slight alcohol warmth and resin. P: Medium body with high carbonation; finish is medium-dry. O: A bright, fresh NE IPA; bitterness is quite high, but the bright citrus and pine notes support the bitterness; malt is kept to a minimal, just supporting the hops.
