UPDATED: MAR 5, 2018 Can at Cinder. Intense hop mix. Pine. Pineapple. Mango. Lime. Forest floor. Passionfruit. Grapefruit. Banana peel. Bittersweet malts below but mostly hops back to front. Big, deep and dank! Idiosynkrasie (8430) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 1, 2018
473ml can. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Condensed, citrusy and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, hints of passion fruit, mango, a minimally sweaty, resinous and piney touch. Taste is dry, crisp, citrusy and bitter hoppy, slightly piney, woody notes of pineapple, lemon, well supporting pale malty basis; lingering hoppy finish. Occupies a terrain between West Coast and New England IPA in a way more agressive way than e.g. The Kernel; needs a bit of time to reveal/attain its full quality. First impression was rather disappointing (considering score and corresponding expectations). mrjez (769) - Osaka, JAPAN - FEB 26, 2018
Can, not sure of date. Clear gold, I got the final pour with tonnes of suspended particles, good slow lacing. Aroma of pine resin and bright citrus, biscuit malt. Flavour is a melange of fruits, orange, tangerine, grapefruit notes stand out. Has a gentle body but high bitterness, a little sweet booze and a hop bite, some throat warming. Really punchy and pleasing taste, a bit throwback now in this age of haze.

W posmaku olejek cytrynowy i znow grejpfrut, moze troszke slodycz bialej cebulki. Genialne i jednoczesnie bardzo tradycyjne w odbiorze. Cialo degustacyjne, wysycenie spore, alkohol szlachetny. Perfekcyjnie dopracowana ipa bez zadnych wyszukanych niuansow. Mariox (476) - Warsaw, POLAND - FEB 23, 2018
Poured a clear yellow with floating yeast and a white head with lacing. Nose was resin and dank. Taste is tropical fruit with a slightly sweet malt. Body is medium light. Big bitter aftertaste that lingers. 16 oz can snowcrash000 (183) - Cologne, GERMANY - FEB 21, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2018 Pours a slightly hazy, deep gold, amber coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smell is quite hoppy and sweet, with notes of tropical and citrus fruit: Mango, papaya, peach and tangerine. Taste follows the nose, being quite hoppy with almost no malt presence at all. Notes of tropical and citrus fruit: mango, papaya, peach, tangerine; with quite some dankness, but little resin to it. There's also a very slight, artificial multivitamin tablet note coming through as well. Finishes with a medium bitterness. Nice, smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. I can see why people call this Heady Topper's little brother, the two are quite similar in my opinion. This has a slightly less rich and complex hop profile, being more tropical, even less malt and also less of a resinous quality, but more dankness and bitterness, which is why, I suppose, some people like it better. However, it also has a significantly worse mouthfeel in my opinion. I was also quite surprised at how much more floaters ended up in my glass compared to Heady Topper, maybe it was not as fresh? gripweed57 (3101) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2018
16 ounce can from a friend. Thanks, Jon! Hazy light gold pour.nrocky white head. Big floral hop bouquet. Notes of citrus, green onions, earthy, crackery malt and mango. Tart citrusy hops. Notes of berry, mango, papaya, tangerine and grapefruit upfront. As the flavor evolves, a big bitter, dryness takes over. Notes of black pepper and grapefruit pith along with resinous pine dominate. Quite intense, yet drinkable. Quite amazing.
