Heady Topper lived up to the hype. Fantastic IIPA. What can be said about it that hasnt already been said? Its the perfect beer. Even the can is a work of art. Insane peach/orange color, ridiculously dank aroma, and an orgasmic blend of hops. Perfect amount of bitterness, finishes clean with a pleasant floral aftertaste. Considered moving to Vermont after the last sip. Cheers.

I've had Pliny and now I've had Heady! I'm gonna have to say... Damn they're both good! This one has HUGE hop aroma but such a sweet flavor. Super duper smooth on the palate. This just sneaks past Pliny as the #1 IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy light amber orange color with a frothy off-white to light tan head. Beautiful aroma with tons of citrusy and tropical fruit hop character. Flavor is a bit more subdued with the sweetness, but with a sharp bitter kick. Oily on the palate with bitterness lasting long into the finish. Great IPA, but not quite spectacular for me.

Hard to take your nose away from the unreal citrus hop explosion that permeates through to the last drop. Fantastic hoppy smoothness on the tongue that really does make you want to crawl into the can

Amazing brew, the smoothest, most drinkable dipa Ive ever tried. Its hoppy, but not over the top, no dry bitter tongue after taste. The most impressive part is the ease that this can be consumed. Smooth smooth smooth.

Hazy straw yellow in color... Aroma is earthy, pine hops, light champagne nose.... Flavor is initially sweet, citrus, gives way to dry earthy, piney bitterness on palate.... Not overwhelmingly bitter, but definitely has a kick... Really complex and well done ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ive had some really good DIPAs and this really doesnt approach that level. My friend who brought the can from Vermont, and who has had this beer many times before, said that it didnt strike her as much as previous cans had. The hazy yellow color is nice, and the aroma is fine (standard citrus, etc.) but theres a superficial bitterness that isnt as well compensated by the sweetness and malt backbone as Ive found in other DIPAs. This is fine, to be sure, very respectable, but Im surprised it has garnered this high a rating/ranking. Can.

Une des meilleures Double IPA, que jai jamais but. Grande arme trs floral, une touche de malt et de houblon bien quilibr. Teneur en alcool parfait. Son seul dfaut, dure a trouver !!
