4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2013 Cans thanks to Balto_MD. Poured into a tulip even though it tells me to drink from the can. Huge pillowy white head. Pours a cloudy orange. Powerful grapefruity hops aroma. As the head dissipates it leaves a beautiful lacing along the glass. Much of the head lasts for some time. Slightly on the bitter side of balanced. This could be due to my pouring it into a glass (just read the can). Actually taking a swig from the can is slightly less bitter. Still an amazing beer that I am glad I got to try. The next three will be drank directly from the can, as it was intended!
16oz can drank out of the can so no comment on head.Aroma fruity taste piney hoppy excellent beer

Where: A gift enjoyed at a tasting event, thanks Maxbier and dlovell2 and Steve.
How: Large can.
Details: Pours an opaque orange-amber with a thin white head. The aroma is all tropical fruit and citrus leaping from the glass. Starts off with sweet citrus and tropical fruit notes, fading to a very mild bitter finish. The malt is more then enough to balance out the bitterness. It has a full mouthfeel, and is very inviting. This is a top notch IIPA, and I can see why people are trying to imitate it. Definitely lives up to the hype!! Joakgust (1460) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2017
Can. Hazy orange golden beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, mango, papaya, passion fruit and peaches. Flavor is fruity with notes of citrus, mangos, pineapple, pine needles, peaches and caramel. Well balanced. EvanFriend (605) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2017
This just tastes like every other IPA out there. It isn’t bad, but it comes nowhere near the hype about it. Boring and overly hoppy. What a let down. jonnyp1 (11) - - AUG 10, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2017 16 oz can because I know how to follow directions. What needs to be said about this that already hasn’t? Incredible beer. Always surprised by how balanced it is.

Can from White Lies Brewing, Sumner. Tried from the can (as suggested) and in a nicely chilled tulip. Pours hazy golden (not as cloudy as some NEIPA’s) with fruity hop aroma and taste: noticable pineapple with citrus peel bitterness in the finish. Prefered it in the glass (decent lacing) but IBU’s well hidden either way. Excellente
