Big thanks to Celtic001 for a couple of these sent my way. I was so excited for the arrival of these, that once they were chilled to perfection, they disappeared quickly. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a murky dark orange/gold with a thick lustrous off-white head on top. Slick yet heavy feel. Lightly oily on the back end. Big bitter pop of juicy hops. Full of lush flavor of bitter fruits, semi-sweet syrup on finish. White peppery "burn" in the midst, but this is bitter all out. Surprisingly an easy finish with such a boisterous profile. Great beer. Not my top DIPA, but a good one for sure that I wouldn’t turn down any day of the year.

3 Months old, drank one in can one in glass, preferred in glass. Golden light hazy beer. Taste is awesome, punchy hops all over the roof of my mouth, sage-like herbalness, slightly sweet and slightly bitter, keeps balance by not being too far in either direction rather than lots of sweetness to cover lots of bitter. The hops tingle, grassy, bright, and resinous all at the same time. Huge beer, but not at all hard to drink, overwhelmingly good.

Can thanks to Xebbe. Unclear orange color, small white head. Fruity aromas with orange juice, caramel, passion fruit, pineapple and peaches. Bitter and fruity taste with pine needles, grapefruit, orange juice and slight resin. Medium bitter finish.

Two 16 oz cans shared via can and pint glass. Hazy orange colored appearance with a white head. Fresh aroma of juicy hops, citrus zest, pine, tropical fruit and light grains. Similar flavor, fresh, juicy, hoppy and zesty with moderate bitterness and a light malt sweetness. Medium body with a pleasant finish. Balanced, refreshing and easy to drink, an excellent IPA/IIPA overall.

Pours golden with a nice white head. Aroma is piney, fruity, citrusy. Taste is hoppy, fruity and nicely bitter. The can I tasted had no date on it but it tasted a touch old to me.

Hit or miss. Some cans of this are pure heaven. Some are meh. The ones that are good though, are really good.

Where: A gift enjoyed at a tasting event, thanks Maxbier and dlovell2 and Steve. How: Large can. Details: Pours an opaque orange-amber with a thin white head. The aroma is all tropical fruit and citrus leaping from the glass. Starts off with sweet citrus and tropical fruit notes, fading to a very mild bitter finish. The malt is more then enough to balance out the bitterness. It has a full mouthfeel, and is very inviting. This is a top notch IIPA, and I can see why people are trying to imitate it. Definitely lives up to the hype!!

Can. Hazy orange golden beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, mango, papaya, passion fruit and peaches. Flavor is fruity with notes of citrus, mangos, pineapple, pine needles, peaches and caramel. Well balanced.

This just tastes like every other IPA out there. It isn’t bad, but it comes nowhere near the hype about it. Boring and overly hoppy. What a let down.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2017 16 oz can because I know how to follow directions. What needs to be said about this that already hasn't? Incredible beer. Always surprised by how balanced it is.
