On tap at the brewpub. Served in a pint size fishbowl shaped glass.Light amber with a white head. Strong hop smell and taste that suited this hop lover just fine. An excellent IPA.

Pours an amber color with a tall white soapy head with a powerful pine, hop, and grapefruit aroma. Flavor has lots of grapefruit with an aggressive hop ending that is powerful, but quite flavorful. Very nice beer!

On tap at the brewpub. Pretty much as standard an American IPA as you’ll find from a lot of places, but still quite good. Poured a nice gold with white head, and had a lot of citrus. The notes say it’s brewed with 5 different hops, and you can certainly taste it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange brown with a thick white head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus, grapefruit, and hop oils. Flavor is slightly stronger than the pale ale (Focal Banger) with more of a malt presence. Grapefruit, citrus, and grassy hops in the finish. Quite tasty stuff! 8/4/8/4/14 [3.8/5]

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2011 On cask at the Alchemist. 2 finger head that laces all the way to the last drop. Hazy orange colour. Aroma of Grapefruit,, Mango and hops - lots and lots of hops. Taste of American and English (?) hops, Grapefruit Rinds, Lightly toasted Caramel Malts and a bit of pine and spruce. Actually finishes like an English IPA - fairly dry. Went down like water, and took a couple before the alcohol hit me. More please.

On tap at the brewpub on November 4, 2010. Pours a nice, slightly-hazed orange color with a three-finger off-white head and an explosion of lacing as it goes down my glass. Then, the nose--holy crap are there a lot of hops in this way. The nose itself is incredibly bitter and brings forward a strong force of citrus hops with a bit of pine as well. The flavor backs off a bit. There is just an unending amount of bitterness coming through in the feel, though the taste doesn’t quite hit the high not belonging to the mouthfeel and the aroma, as the hop flavors don’t really pop and it turns into a bit of an IBU bomb without the flavor to back it up. Still, a really nice beer and a pretty good substitute for not getting to try Heady Topper, though I’ll be back looking for that. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-14-2010

Draft. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head and light sticky retention. Grassy and spruce hop tones, very resinous and very bittering. Chewy grass, hints of grapefruit. Pretty good.
