On tap at the alchemist. Hazy orange with a medium sized off whit head. Aroma is HUGE citrus, resiny, earthy hops with some pine thrown in as well. Taste is very hoppy and assertive, alot of citrus and pine, very resiny and lightly earthy, with a good biscuity malt backbone. Finishes pretty bitter that lingers for quite awhile. Holy Cow is right! Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 5, 2006
On cask at Alchemist. Smells of citrus and peppery hops with some pilsner malt in the background. Tastes hoppy with a nice malty palate. axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 22, 2006
Quite hoppy all around. The nose was old grapefruits and fresh cut grass. A ton of hops in the flavor. Something about the malt flavor in this one that reminds me a lot of an incredibly hopped up Bass. Unfortunately, I’m not a Bass fan and that killed it for me. fatty (363) - Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 24, 2006
Copper body with thin white head poured from the tap in Waterbury, VT. Aroma and flavor both offer hops of pine and grapefruit and ends in a smooth, almost creamy hop aftertaste.

Five hops and six malts undisclosed. Big head, nice bitter. 85 IBU. A choice of a session ale. Bitterness offset by malt in a nice smooth balance. Better than average IPA and finishes crisp and clean beerbuzzmontreal (3486) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 27, 2005
Pours a clear golden color with a thin offwhite head. Very solid aroma of floral and citrusy hops. Very good flavor of strong floral and citrusy hops with a bitter finish. Medium body with a dry texture and lively carbonation. It’s kind if unidimensional but holy cow that dimension’s good ! MartinT (10155) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 24, 2005

Multifarious hoppiness emulates grapefruit, pine trees and lemons. Supporting malt is perceived, but without any distinctive signature. John Kimmich is the king of dry hopping on the east coast.
Tiny bubbles appear within the citrusy and peppery hops. Their rising bitterness reaches grass and resins, lingering beautifully, Soft biscuity and bready malts participate, as well. This recipe seems quite similar to Two Hearted Ale’s, so why isn’t this lauded as one of the country’s great IPAs? The perfume is as beautiful, the hop flavor is perfectly integrated to the cereals, the mouthfeel is suave, there are two alcohol points less, so more drinkability, and perhaps a tad more bitterness. This is brimming with quality and vivacity.
Beautiful lacing punctuates the glass on top of the hazy dark gold to orange hue, headed by a white foam. Ultra zesty, limey, grassy and strikingly orangey juicy and fresh, well cut hops. Developing a nice spiciness, notably peppery in mouth, it never loses focus, being in communion with its light-medium bodied knotted up by extremely engaging soft, almost cask-like carbonation. Exquisite balance, cleanliness and quaffability. Shining skills. Sregnar35 (1033) - Rotterdam, New York, USA - JUL 15, 2005
On tap at the alchemist pub in Waterbury, VT. This is the little brotyher to heady topper. Nice hops, but also sweet and a bit creamy.
