Tap. Winter 09-10. Amber with tight white head. Aroma is earthy with caramel, grain, grass, pepper. Flavors of toffee, grain, honey, chamomile. Medium-thin body with oily mouthfeel. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 5, 2010
A reddish amber ale with a thick frothy off white head. Very fragrant aroma of pinhey c-hops, herbal and floral. In mouth, wow, a pungeant and intense mild with good malt, nice c-hops...this is on par with a good IPA. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 11 2009.

Draft at the brewpub - Poured a slightly hazy reddish brown in color with color with a small off-white head. Aroma is medium of floral hops with light malts underneath. Flavor is fairly heavy of floral and citrus hops with a bit of roasty malts in support. Finish is a good mix of roasted malts and plenty of hop flavor. A decent mild... I can hardly wait to taste its parent, the wee heavy.
